Glamourpuss 29,062
It's not known for being a well written pop album. It's known for the production and the samples.

It can easily be left out of an acronym. COD is fine. I am (was) a Madonna stan since 1985 (yes, I was 9) and she chose to spelled it in 2 words, as clearly visible in the album cover: https://www.madonna.com/discography/album/10/ as A Star is Born is ASIB and not SIB nor SB, in the Madonna forums back in the day it was COADF. Believe me, I was there since before the album came out. That being said, feel free to call it as you like. I'm a real Fire CRRRACKERRR

I mean she was having a rough time with lyrics back then maybe it affected her English too. River 89,253
The only song with somehow serious deep meaning is Isaac, but you need to understand the prayer in Hebrew to understand the whole song, the meaning and the atmosphere of it. Je ne parle pas français but I can padam if you like

A song does not have to be always the same formula. That's exactly why Confessions is brilliant. Also, the lyrics are pretty interesting: It's an illusion There's too much confusion It's an illusion There's too much confusion Down, down, down in your heart Find, find, find the secret Turn, turn, turn, turn your head around Baby we can do it We can do it alright Do you believe in love at first sight? It's an illusion, I don't care Do you believe I can make you feel better Too much confusion, come on over here Can we get together? I really, I really wanna be with you Come on, check it out with me I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too I've searched I've searched I've searched my whole life To find, to find, to find the secret And all I did was open up my eyes Baby we can do it We can do it alright Do you believe that we can change the future? Do you believe I can make you feel better? Can we get together? I really, I really wanna be with you Come on, check it out with me I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too Can we get together? I really, I really wanna be with you Come on, check it out with me I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too It's an illusion There's too much confusion I'll make you feel better If it's better at the start Then it's sweeter in the end Do you believe in love at first sight? It's an illusion, I don't care Do you believe I can make you feel better Too much confusion, come on over here Can we get together? I really, I really wanna be with you Come on check it out with me I hope you, I hope you feel the same way too Can we get together? I really wanna be with you Come on check it out with me I hope you feel the same way too It's all an illusion There's too much confusion I'll make you feel better If it's better at the start Then it's sweeter in end I know why it's done but to me, the point of a song is great lyrics above all else. I'd take more lyrics over fire production any day. I don't really listen to albums to dance to them, but rather, just to sit back and immerse myself in an experience. The lyrics really aren't half bad when they're written out in front of me but any experience that I've ever had of listening to that song is just hearing "can we get together, get together, get together." It just doesn't hit me deep down in my soul, it just leaves me empty.
