I'm starting to see a pattern here:

2000: Backstreet Boys - Black and Blue

2004: Gwen Stefani - Love.Angel.Music.Baby

2005: Backstreet Boys - Never Gone

2010: Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

2014: Taylor Swift - 1989

2015: Carly Rae Jepsen - EMOTION

2020: Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia

Next pop bible in 2024 confirmed? Who do you think will deliver the next one?

They shipped it, but it got shipped back

Pop Music

but it's going to be Chromatica

yes Future Nostalgia is great and the best Pop album we've had since Lover but I'm still holding out for Chromatica to fill that spot

I love Future Nostalgia but I think it is too early to say this album is 2020th pop bible. We need to wait more. :)

Did you just skipped all Gagas or am i missing something?

Yes I did, but I was more looking in the direction of pure pop. Gaga is more dance-pop to me.

What is a pop bible?

An album filled with great (pure) pop songs. Close to no fillers.

Pop music was invented in 2008 with The Fame, thus, the original pop bible. The satanic arc of said pop bible was added in 2009. Then, in 2011, the pop bible was reinvented for inclusiveness. In 2013, the pop bible started partying, having sex, and doing drugs. In 2016, the Christian Bible scolded the pop bible, so she put on a Christian disguise. But, in 2020, the pop bible decided Earth was cancelled, and just got the f*ck out of this planet, to achieve its dominance across the universe.

This is a very good album, well produced with many potential hits. But there is nothing revealing about it, nothing new. Dismantling old concepts without taking any risk.
Of course, this is a great fry, very tasty and good looking but still fry

It's great that Dua reinvents herself and doesn't stand still

The Fame and The Fame Monster are the current pop bibles

Then Teenage Dream

Then Dangerous Woman

Then Lover

And now it will be Chromatica

End Racism Now
