youandi 2,110
I like it. It's a good album, Levitating, Hallucinate and Love Again are brilliant and obviously DSN is great. I don't get the hype with Break My Heart though when most of the other songs on the album might have been a better single choice to bring the album in imo I think I'd LOVE the album if there were a few more tracks, like I'd have loved a good power ballad on there, something that would fit the aesthetic and then maybe like a crying on the dancefloor style song ballad/dancey would be nice but I guess Love Again is slightly like that, and finally a truly futuristic song would have been good, maybe as the closer. The album is so committed to its disco aesthetic, I don't think that 'futuristic' side she spoke of really came through much
Spock 20,290
Levitating HAS to be the next single An 80s/modern/spacey inspired music video with everyone gliding and dancing in a roller rink wearing glittered, color-blocked outfits I'm speaking it into existence who will love me when the night is over
Loyalty 3,904
The album is good and definitely has danceable and well polished tracks, Dua really worked hard to nail this. It's obviously a tad overrated, but it wouldn't be getting all this praise if it were forgettable and blended in. Mainstream pop in 2020 sounds like Ariana mumbles, Billie ASMR or even worse, mumble rappers. Future Nostalgia may have its faults, but it's throwing pure pop back into the mainstream and everybody should be thankful for it for obvious reasons. Which is why it's making me scream that everybody is so pressed I tried finding the list saying that she's the third most acclaimed female album of all time on metacritic and couldn't find it. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just wanna see it with my own eyes.

Future Nostalgia could very well be forgotten in 2 years, but I’m sure Dua would have made an even better record by then.

ThisBitch 3,436
This is a very decent album with 5 outstanding songs, the rest is just fine. All the praise leads towards happiness in these dark times, in reality this album is on the same level as The Fame, Gaga her debut
VictoriaWinters 1,999
I think she definitely chose the best songs for the singles but there's a few gems too. She's definitely not a main pop girl yet for those of you saying that, but I think she has potential to become one if the next album lives up to/tops this. Also: Love Again is the best song. Periodt. Red Velvet 10,988
Listening to her album, it was really well crafted. My favorite has to be Levitating, Physical and Break My Heart. This is very exciting and I could see Dua getting many awards with this very amazing album. I also love how this became very universally loved. This is this year's universally loved pop album. She is up there with Born to Die and Melodrama as the best modern sophomore albums of all time. Don't @ me. I'm like some kind of supernova

Gimme! on some parts? Not saying this as a bad thing 'cause it's my fave from the album Omg I definitely hear it and maybe that's why it's my fav since I love both of those songs.
