They resent the fact that Gaga is not in that position anymore and they're so jealous of other pop stars who are (temporarily) in that position that they just jump ship to enjoy being on the "winning" side again. It's very lame. I see. But people should at least consider the idea that maybe Gaga won't ever be that "it girl" again... And it doesn't matter. AlwaysLoveGaga 4,297
This section of the forum is called Gaga thoughts not Dua Thoughts. This is GagaDaily not DuaDaily (or LipaDaily, you decide). Please take your negativity elsewhere. You can be critical without being rude. No shade to Dua, the singles for Future Nostalgia have been rly good, but you don’t have to knock someone down in order to raise someone up. Gaga preaches kindness, let’s try to follow her. The really fantastic thing about kindness is that it's free -Lady Gaga

I'm still waiting to see what chromatica gives, plus i enjoyed babylon, it has that sassy vibe i missed from her. plus the paper photoshoot reignited the whole hype for me. i still believe stupid love was a lukewarm promo single intensionally, making a smooth transition from oscar winning actress to (once again) eccentric pop star. that being said i expect from gaga big visuals and catchy poppy songs, thats what made me fall in love with her and i really want her to make a great comeback in the pop scene! dua is truly serving and i hope her album gets her many awards, she really put out a well thought album I think what is clear now is that Gaga and her team don't know how to market her music anymore. I say release the 2nd single next month with Ariana who's cool factor maybe will catapult the song to become a hit. And if that doesn't work, release the album and let the new generation decide which song should be the 3rd single by looking at which songs get streamed the most. I still am excited for Chromatica and it will be good because she's never released a bad album.
MessyTop 14,389
Duas album is really something else. Beautiful my produced. lets hope Gaga doesn’t overproduce Chromatica. But is Gaga, she will overproduce it. Whenever that album comes, I think is doomed, took so long, fans are angry, she’s angry, and some of that music is old. Seeka 12,372
Go get a life then. It's okay Gaga doesn't mean as much too as she once did. It's okay she doesn't turn you on musically. What's not okay is ruining everyone else's experiences with pointless threads. Yes. It's a critique. But don't need to be so dramatic about it. You can move on soundlessly, thank the woman for what she has done. But no need for dramatics.

If I truly didn't care for her new music I wouldn't be writing these essays. Just two years ago I was enjoying her new music with ASIB and Joanne and The Cure. I pulled up some quotes from the last few posts you made on here. "The song is dramatically falling on all streaming avenues." "The thing is this site has turned into a kind of cult. We can’t criticise Gaga anymore" "It’s not climbing to number 1. The song is bombing on streaming sites and it’s sales have slowed down." "The audacity for you to compare those pop perfections to Stupid Love. Like Perfect Illusion the song is not listenable." "Stupid Love has flopped and there is no hype around Chromatica as an album. It will perform abysmally in its current state." I just don’t understand why you’re still here if all you bring is negativity. So, that’s where you lose all of your credibility as a so-called "fan". You’re not able to balance out what you’d probably call "constructive criticism" with actual positive comments about her work. Seriously, just move on. Leave this forum. I LOVE GGD 1,247
35 minutes ago, Bobbins said: Her new album 'Future Nostalgia' takes a throwback sound and makes it sound fresh and not dated. Her music videos have been visually stunning and professionally directed. And even though she isn't the best dancer, the choreography/dance breakdowns for her performances have done wonders for her stage presence. This might be one of my last posts on here tbh. I'm tired of Gaga's ego and the ego of little monsters on here saying we can't critique her poor choices in her career. The BTW ghastly motorcycle album cover was a choice. The consistently poorly directed and edited music videos for Million Reasons, The Edge of Glory, Stupid Love (+ its cringe choreography) has also been a choice. The way she explained Chromatica in the Zane interview also made it sound like her trying to make a simple concept sound more complicated than it is. If I am being honest, I think Gaga has lost her drive and her creativity. The Babylon leak also sounds awful and dated. I know a lot of you won't care and this thread will probably be closed, but Gaga did mean a lot to me when I was 13 years old. As a kid who has homophobic christian parents, living as an immigrant in the UK, trying to do well academically while struggling with my sexuality and my place in society - Gaga's music and art helped me a lot. But I am not that same uneducated 13 year old who would watch Gaga interviews and think she was a smart popstar because she used some fancy words. Or that she was different from other pop singers because she wrote socially conscious lyrics. Literally so MANY other pop artists in the mainstream do that now. The fact that she thinks Stupid Love is the best song on the album worries me the most because it shows how out of touch and oblivious her and her team are. The song is dropping like a rock on all streaming avenues (which is understandable because she released it even though snippets of it have been online since last year showing how incompetent her team are + it sounds dated, has an awful music video and has no replay value; the song honestly is noisy and jarring to listen to like Perfect Illusion). She wasted her ASIB hype and this Coronavirus epidemic is going to last for more than just a few months (especially considering how fast it is spreading in America and how **** America's healthcare system is) which will disrupt all plans for promo. Sorry but unless she pulls it around with a second single my stan card will be in jeopardy. She needs to learn from Dua Lipa and make music that is truly universal and fresh and isn't just catered towards queer fans (and a lot of queer fans reject her new music anyway and want her to go back to the TFM sound). She needs a BRUTALLY honest focus group who will tell her what is good and what is awful/cringy on her new album. That's my peace there. Oh Lord! Now we're even judging and giving our opinion of what an artist should and shouldn't do. And we do so because we believe we have a duty to what? What's the purpose of this? How dare we give our opinion on something we lack completely knowledge of? Saying Ms. Lipa is "serving" what Gaga wishes, it's implying that Gaga is in any possible way trying to do what Dua does and that seems utterly ignorant because who can know what Gaga has orchestrated inside her mind. Or her fanbase can read minds now? If you don't like the music Ms. Lady Gaga crates, that's absolutely fine, just listen to the artist you like better. Just don't go pretending you know what happens inside the creative mind of someone like Gaga. That only serves a purpose: to show the depth of ignorance and stupidity in someone's brains. Let the artist be the creator of his/her own journey and you go back to your desks. ❤

I've been a fan of her since TF era and the moment I first felt disappointed is when Gaga became too dark visually and musically (Alejandro Mv and Judas). I also complained when she's not rocking the platinum blonde with bangs and tanned body anymore (the fame look that made me like her). At this point, we should have realized that Gaga will constantly change. As for me and many other fans out there, we'll be here like "F**k it. Let's just see where will Gaga bring us this time." ι'м ρυℓℓιηg үσυя sтяιηgs

Jose P 23,341
Also Dua is Dua and Gaga is Gaga. No need to knock someone down to bring the other one up. This happens to female artists all the damn time. It happens to Katy, it happened to Britney, it happened to Taylor, it happened to Madonna, it’s happening to Gaga, and it will happen to Dua. It’s frustrating how male artists don’t get constantly compared with each other and bashed once they reach a certain time in the industry. I know after a while that standards become very high, but it’s still very annoying. Just think about it: none of those girls are making music to compete with one another. None of them give a damn about this petty fights stans have on Twitter and forums. Most of them actually love and support each other. Stans should do the same. Dua actually deserved the praise she's getting with this album. Girl worked her ass of for people to know who she is and to appreciate her. You think this praise is here just because she's giving out the effortless vibe? C'mon now. She was performing every single week when DSN was released, she released at least 2 videos for every single, she did every interview possible.. Sorry but that is not effortless. It's not a trick and it won't get old because she is actually working hard on her music and for her music. Pop stars now don't do it like that anymore. People also need to remember that all new pop stars typically still do a ton of traditional promo because like you said they have to do so to get their name out there. Dua had New Rules but was essentially unknown in the US before DSN and she had to work her ass off to get people to know her. Which is all great and I love the music she’s putting out but I doubt she’ll be putting in this time of promo work 10 plus years into her career. Mainly because either A) She won’t be relevant anymore or B) Will have cemented herself like a Taylor, Beyoncé, Gaga whose names carry a lot of weight so they don’t need to do traditional promo spots as much
