Lame. Music is music. It shouldn't all be about commercial strategizing. That's extra stuff which can be really enjoyable, but it's not essential. Most essential is allowing people to listen to good music.

I can't at so many pop artists and their labels trying to convince us these are normal decisions. We're in need of more entertainment rn than ever and they're abandoning us.

But unfortunately that’s just how it is. The music industry is well...an industry. A business. Only independent artists can afford to release music with no worries about financial gain.
