Gaga wants to bring meditation techniques to pop music

So I've been thinking... on the back of my post here:

I think its not too far of a reach to think that Gaga is bringing what she has learned through various meditation techniques. One of the first things you get taught in meditation and/or other mental relaxation techniques is to imagine a "sanctuary" that you can immediately think of to escape modern reality. Whether it be to relax, or to go to a place that makes you feel happy, that place can be easily accessible just by listening and associating sounds with thoughts and feelings, while imagining a place that reflects those thoughts and feelings.

I feel like that is Gaga's whole aim with this album. She said in an interview that she wants this album to be apart of peoples lives, for people to escape reality and just dance the negativity away. Chromatica is a sanctuary, and this is how Gaga will change the world.

I hope the GP and some of us monsters know that whats coming isn't just great pop music, its a whole experience to make us feel better about ourselves, to make us happy and to enjoy life. This album will be life changing, and for that I cannot wait to hear this project in full. I cannot wait to experience what she wants us to see, what she wants us to feel, what she wants us to hear. Its not just music, its much more than that.

I don't feel that when I listen to any of her songs other than Born This Way (song). The Fame was a great album, and is good to put on and dance... but its doesn't necessarily make me escape to another place. Same with TFM. Born This Way... some of the songs are uplifting and in this sense, will make people feel empowered. Again, its different to escaping reality. ARTPOP is kind of similar to TF and Chromatica is the sense that it wants to achieve what Chromatica will be, but doesn't quite reach there. The whole "my ARTPOP could mean anything" is similar, but its too vague and people never got it. Joanne is... Joanne :bon:

Chromatica (imo) will be the only project that will go all the way

I think this is very true, and she actually said in an interview one time that she was trying to achieve the same thing with ARTPOP. Something along the lines of “when the real world gets too difficult or too lonely, I want my fans to be able to escape in their heads to a world full of art and creativity and Greek goddesses and seashell bikinis” or something like that. Can’t find the exact quote, but it stuck with me!
