So? It was for a good reason.  Maybe if both parties actually met the mark for once and neither tried to sneak in anti abortion and pro diversity laws and actually focused on helping the people first...

That’s the real issue I have with this bill; all the conditions Congress want to throw in for who qualifies and doesn’t.

Leave it to conservatives to do the very minimum for working Americans and sneak in more corporate welfare in the midst of a pandemic. :fail:

The US has been exposed as having a pseudo govt in the crisis.

"Earlier in the day, four Republican senators — Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott of South Carolina, Ben Sasse of Nebraska and Rick Scott of Florida — threatened not to support the chamber's push to pass the rescue package through fast-track procedures. They argued a plan to add $600 per week to unemployment insurance for up to four months, a core provision of the near-final legislation, could encourage companies to lay off workers and Americans to stay unemployed.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., then said he would delay the bill if his GOP colleagues did not drop their opposition, calling it an "outrage" to prevent Americans from getting emergency unemployment insurance. In a statement, he said he is "prepared to put a hold on this bill" to lobby for tighter restrictions on companies receiving aid from a taxpayer pool of $500 billion."

The anti-bernie propaganda is off the radar with this thread. I'm pretty sure the OP is a MAGA or Sleepy Joe stan.

Why the fake news headline@hankhatesyouall?

Your agenda is so transparent. At least be honest about it and say who really blocked the measure. The party YOU support.

You'll do anything to pretend the politicans you support are so great and do the most and act in as much bad faith as possible to try to slander those you don't like.

Which is kind of what we need now. Kind of. More people at home so this coronavirus cam be dealt with.

Just slap an expiration date on it, I don't see the issue with the bill. Rick Scott opposes it which tells me it's probably a good thing.

Whimsical bitch
