Everyone's arguing about the names, meanwhile I'm thinking 'those designs are pretty bad' 

I mean, they're not utterly incompetent, but this is probably the most tired and derivative look they could have come up with - the pink and blue could work if its done well and they didn't do that  

The names are atrocious tho, I kinda don't believe that this is a genuine thing - I mean whoever named them is definitely not genuine, but the whole thing feels like something that's meant to get clicks

I mean, even if it was conceived as a publicity stunt, they might still go ahead and incorporate those characters, especially if the property they're in is not gonna be something they really invest in/care about... It will probably be very low quality and quickly forgotten, so... you decide for yourself how you feel about big entertainment companies doing stuff like that
