God I'm in love with that husky voice, especially in her low register moments... Mmmmh... Soe sexay... The final chorus of Love Again gives me that Bond title vibe... Why the hell didn't they choose Doola instead ? Such a fine & fresh anticovid bliss. Thank you Dua form the bottom of my old pop heart, you are such a brave girl. Love you. And tbh I can’t get it out of my head now 2. DSN: 10/10: A whole bop, wbk. 3. Cool: 5/10: I mean... it’s ok? Tbh it’s very underwhelming after all the pre-release songs 4. Physical: 10/10: The best song on the album, wbk. 5. Levitating: 7/10: A cute bop. I like the “oh, oh, oh, oh” part in the background. The pre-chorus also slaps! 6. Pretty Please: 4/10: So damn boring! I’m sorry but it’s just not as good as most of the album. 7. Hallucinate: 10/10: Oh I knew from the first second of the song that this was gonna slap! Finally something as good as DSN and BMH. Probably my second favorite song on the album. 8. Love Again: 8/10: Lol I thought we were gonna get a ballad on this album with the intro, but nah. Still a really cute bop tho! 9. BMH: 10/10: The melody is nothing special, but that production is HEAVENLY 10. Good in Bed: 3/10: Omg I absolutely hate this. That chorus is horrendous Everything else is pretty boring except for “I dedicate this verse to all that good pipe in the moonlight” 11. Boys Will Be Boys: 10/10: Wow, what a great closing track! Also the lyrics are an entire gag Overall score/thoughts: 79/100: Overall Dua did that! I think there were only 3 songs that I didn’t like. The Normani collab deserved to be on the album. It’s so great, although I feel like the most powerful songs are the ones that are already released - and Physical is still the BEST (I’ve been OBSESSED with the song since the moment I heard it when it leaked ). As for the rest of the album (non-singles), my favorites are Cool and Hallucinate! Cool is such a cute, lovely, summer-ready song, while Hallucinate is club-ready and has a really sugary, electro sound. Break My Heart is the next single, and while it’s not a bad song, I don’t know if it’ll do so well. It’s almost like a less dancey and upbeat Don’t Start Now but with a much more pure disco sound. If Physical underperformed I don’t know how well BMH will do but we’ll see! Also, I know the Normani collab that leaked a few months ago (If It Ain’t Me) isn’t on Future Nostalgia.... it’s a cute bop, I really feel like it could fit very well now that I’ve heard the whole album.
