I'm pretty sure Indonesia will soon follows.

It has population of at least 260M people, and they're so unprepared.

First case was 3 weeks ago, and now it has 450 cases with  81 deaths, 18% of fatality rate.

I don't know what will happen by the end of April.

And some people here still think, 'it's just a flu'. :triggered:

Italian/European monsters, stay safe.!

People should remember that this influenza-like virus can resist all anti-viral drugs as of the moment. No vaccine concocted as well.

It’s NOT just a flu:triggered:

It’s fckin scary. Over here they’re bombing us with news 24/7 and there’s not one moment of peace of mind. It’s a constant state of anxiety and I find myself having panic attacks daily for over a week now. Hospitals are running out of ICU rooms and equipment, the deaths count seems like will keep on rising once the south gets severely hit after people failed to follow the quarantine measures at the very beginning of March.

I also have a friend whose dad was already diagnosed with cancer and is now dying because of it, but he wasn’t able to see him for two months now ‘cause he’s far from home at uni. He’ll basically never see him again, not even at his funeral... which won’t even take place, obviously.

I can assure you that I was one of those idiots at the beginning of this, thinking they were all overreacting and that it was just a flu. Don’t be that kind of idiot, guys. Wherever you are, just stay home and don’t take any unnecessary risks. We have to make little sacrifices for this to go away as quickly as possible and we gotta do it together.

If it is any comfort, most of the world is going through the same thing right now. My mom is immuno-compromised and I'm very concerned for her health, with the cases rising pretty quickly here in Canada. We really are all in this together.

Most Asian countries have it under control. Ironically, they're the ones being blamed.

The only country to be blamed for the START of the virus is China and their lack of regulations in public markets. The western countries need to be blamed for their delayed response to the virus.

I have 0 immunity system due to heavy medications that soppress my linfocites every 6 months (I have multiple sclerosis and I'm keeping it under control with a new therapy) and I'm freaking out, honestly. Tuscany got very infected lately.

I'm not talking about blame. Because that's irrelevant at this point. I'm talking about how some countries are getting it right and others, like the US, are clearly headed for disaster.

These numbers just increase every day :omg: . May the families have the strength to go through this  .

Here in Germany, fortunately the number of deaths is still very low ( something over 70 deaths with over 22K infections ), but so is the number of healed people ( both numbers are under 1% ). I hope we'll reach the peak of it soon :ohno: .

Ew, David!

We should not compare Italy with China, since there are more and more proofs that there were 12000 cases in China between December and January (they officially had 440). And they are starting to have new cases as well as South Korea.

Yes, the whole world is in it. Deep. And not all countries are equipped to deal with this, the poorest countries, which is the sad part. So I’m really hoping only we Italians are that stupid to still go out jogging in the morning to this day or secretely invite friends into our homes. We just have to sit tight and wait for it to pass.

Wish you and your family the best. Take care of each other
