i think it’s more about seeing how lonely and sad the lives of people who are placed on a pedestal really are. 

even tho she’s probably joking, there was something heartbreaking about Ellen saying she wished she had had kids...there’s probably a little bit of truth in those words. 

it’s so easy to get caught up in dinners out, and friends, and board meetings where you’re the most important person; and you start to forget how empty these things really can make you feel if you have nothing much going on at home.

I mean it is kinda annoying how people obsess over every part of a celebrity’s life and would do anything that celebrity tells them to do. But it really depends on the celebrity. I for example despise the whole craze over the Kardashians. I mean I don’t get how people can be so obsessed with them, what’s so interesting about them? Yet many praise Kylie Jenner as if she’s some inspiring goddess when all she’s got going for her is her money and how “hot” she is. Like, the girl has as much personality as a cardboard 

There are actually some celebs to look up to: Gaga, Lorde, Taylor for example, who use their influence and platform for a good thing, and rely on their talent and craft to succeed.
