I dont want to be that guy but usually the score goes down after more reviews come in. Still, this is a strong start and I estimate it will end up somewhere between 75-80 in the end. Still good though

The production is top notch, sounds like an 80s futuristic movie. But some of the lyrics are literally disgusting, he sounds like a creep. And sometimes you can’t even understand what he’s saying, he’s just moaning on the mic :ally:

There are 3-4 really good standouts but beside that I could not separate the songs. I'd be shocked to see one ended and the next was already playing.

Congrats to him but 86 is way more than what it deserves. The fact that this ranks above every single Lady Gaga album ever and even higher than Bjork and Lana is a complete joke and shows how little is expected from men.

Tell me After Hours and Blinding Lights sound the same.

Tell me Heartless and In Your Eyes sound the same.

Tell me Faith and Save Your Tears sound the same.

Tell me the Interlude sounds like Scared To Live.

No.

Exactly how I felt when listening. I love Abel but this is definitely not my favourite album from him. I think it's kinda forgettable.

Oh my god, here we go with the fckin seXiSmE.

It’s called cohesiveness! It’s a body of a work, not a collection of singles.

Vulnicura has a score of 87 and Vespertine a 88 (in a time when critics were way harsher). NFR has a 87 too.

“It sounds the same” when literally one half of the album is dark & muddy experimental tracks and the other is synthwave 80’s throwbacks.

Y’all are making stuff up now.
