CA has a population of 40 million (as of 2018) 56% is 22.5 million They say 80% of those affected are mild, ie. not severe 20% are severe, most needing hospitalization That's roughly 4.5 million severe cases. Where are they gonna put them? And that is only CA. Healthcare companies do not donate money to help- this isn't controversial to say. It is GREAT if people are being proactive, etc. I just do not get why my questions and POV are a problem. Weren't we told to proactively self-isolate because it helps the most vulnerable? Yet, now 1 in 5 young people are vulnerable now?! For me, being alone in wanting answers that make sense, with actions that make sense with those answers, with a plan that is logical... is making me insane. Being a community, being compassionate, being kind, coming together for everyone... means being able to ask questions, being able to offer a POV that differs from the talking points, being able to get support, etc. I have SO MUCH compassion for anyone who is scared, SO MUCH gratefulness for those who are doing what they think is best for them and others.
