Oh how easy the world would be if governments didn't have to accept the responsibility of trying to save a population. Sadly 20,000 is the best we can hope for according to predictions. Much better than 250,000 though. But you wanna focus on the negatives. Be my guest, the world is full of them right now. The point is, there shouldn't BE an aim in the first place. When you have to go out try to go at the quiet hours. I heard staying 1 meter away was the recommendation so try to slalom between each person you cross lol and you'll not catch it from them. Mainly since they have masks on ( in France we're quarantined but people going out have no masks since the stocks are empty since a while ), that's a good point for your country that many regular people still have these! Try to avoid touching any inert surfaces since it can remain a few hours on it as well. I only go for groceries and I touch nothing without gloves. Once I'm done and back home, I directly put the gloves in a corner if ever it had gems on it so I know I didn't place the potential germs all over the house by touching stuffs everywhere inside with the gloves on. After that I wash my hands even if it's normally not needed since I had gloves while going out and I know that I'll have to do the same thing for the next aventure lmao. I just chose a corner where I don't go for the gloves since in the worst case scenario it would have germs on it for a few hours (4h is the max I heard) before to die. Love and don't panic, now you can stay home you just have to follow these instructions and stay peacefully at home 99% of the time to not catch it! This has already spread and projections show up to 250,000 people in the UK will die. So yeah "aiming" to limit the virus to only kill 20,000 is the best we can hope for. You think there are magical solutions to this kind of problem? Wake the hell up, people are going to die. We have to aim to limit that number as much as we can. It's not easy to have that on your hands but thankfully there are people who have to step up and take action. Coven Season

The 'magical solution' should have happened weeks ago, also sufficient funding for our health service would maybe also you know...help? Let's not give praise to people who should have and could have acted much sooner. The figure could be drastically reduced if proper measures are taken and funding increased. I mean hell NHS staff dont even have PPE. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it

I'm just sick of people thinking they know best when literally our countries best scientists are doing all they can to find solutions to this problem. There is no 'magical solution' that could have happened weeks ago. Why can't people get that through their skulls? The only magical solution I know is a world where China doesn't have these horrid wet markets that spawn these new viruses. Coven Season
Guest
Of course there's no magical solution but at least there are countries that are doing something to protect their people. Italy is locking down everything to minimize the spread, the same with Spain, that is gonna use 20% of its gross domestic product to fight the effects of the virus, and all because it's essential to avoid a massive spreading in order to not saturate the medical services. Ok, we get it, almost all of us will be infected but it's crucial that the infection slows down and we are not exposed to a huge virus burden at once so we can develop immunity and the virus won't take us to the ICU. If the medical services are saturared by coronavirus patients, don't you dare to have an accident, a heart attack or whatever because you are screwed. These 2 countries are just an example (basically they are the ones I know more about) and will probably go under serious finantial crisis, but what can I say, I am proud of them instead of letting people die to save the country

We are fully aware there isnt a magical solution, that's why I put it in quotations but people have been insisting of stricter measures for weeks and nothing had been adopted until recent. The magical solution would be to stop all animal trading globally. Mad Cow Disease, Avian Flu, SARS, Swine Flu, Coronavirus to name a few are all a result of the disgusting industry. This wont happen which is why world governments need to face more scrutiny. The hardest thing in this world is to live in it
