Lord Temptation 11,209
What a stupid goal. Publicising a number makes those lives sound so meaningless. âOnly 20,000â? Instead of fixating on a single number they should just discuss maximising the number of lives they hope to save and the strategies they have to implement them. Also, if the number goes much higher, the public might also blame them for focusing too much on the wrong things. Theyâll say âIf you had prepared for 50,000 possible deaths instead of only 20,000, we wouldnât have had 100,000 deathsâ, for example.

Bloody 64,632
I'm livin in UK and some people are still acting like nothing is going on and it's frustrating. The gov could have taken measurements even earlier to prevent the worse from happening. I'm working in a restaurant and it's actually even busier with all this crisis going on  I don't know what are they waiting for to shut down the businesses for a few weeks like they do in other european countries. It's getting out of hand and people are panicking.
PinkJelly 1,857
I live in the U.K. and while our workplace had banned all visitors to our office, and has issued all staff with laptops this week, we still donât have functionality to actually access the systems we need to run business as usual, most non essential staff (I.E marketing, HR, compliance) have been told to work from home but because Iâm classed as essential staff (operations), I have to go into the office - I use the trams to get to work everyday honestly itâs so ridiculous Iâm literally putting myself at risk by just travelling to and from work thereâs no way to abide by social distancing when youâre on public transport

DrewPa 3,762
So basically: Italy: People's life if the most important thing, even if that means to crack nation's economy UK: We are not going to destroy the country stopping everything, you are going to get sick and some of you will die, and then we can move on France: People's life is important, but so is economy, stay at home but we are not going to stop everything, be safe and Bonne chance Interesting.  Celloo Deng 56,412
Where I work, everyone is still being told to come into the office and nobody is working from home unless they have symptoms or live with somebody who does. It's as if everything is still going on as normal and it's baffling to me. My worry is the people put out of work who won't be able to pay their bills, but we already knew that this government doesn't care about that. she/her đ€ Gaga, Billie, MJ
