If anything has been mediocre recently, it’s S****d L**e.

You can not deny The Weeknd’s ability to create brilliant melodies, and brilliant dark bops.

I'm kinda ignoring that S****d L**e exists tbh :selena:

So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.

So Gaga will most likely share the tracklist a few days before the release of the album?

Serve it, Ancient City style!

Not me. I feel The Weeknd’s music has always been mediocre, but he had an aesthetic and voice that people loved.

Also I think it’s funny how when he first started out he was doing obscure 80s samples in his early mixtapes, which got him noticed. Then for the rest of the 2010s he dumbed himself down and did whatever THEY asked him to, but now he is going full 80s all over again with visuals, sounds and references (Escape From LA is a famous 1981 film, After Hours is a 1985 Scorceses film, the entire look so far is very Thriller and AHS:1984)

I hope this era gives him what he needs to make his next record more about him and less about what is popular right now.

It’s funny tho bc 80s sounds HAVE been popular right now, with Dua and Gaga also bringing that sound back :laughga:
