I know the music industry is, well, an industry and all, but I feel like music is could be really useful for society and togetherness right now.

Music is one of those things that can survive chaos like this virus. The world is literally falling apart, but we don't need to leave our homes to hear music. It can help us in a small way to get peace.

I hope she doesn't, perfect time to release music for people to escape what's going on.

Agreed, if we’re all hulled up indoors we need some at home escapism. Some music for people to enjoy would be great.

Damn. I always forget we should pronoun Sam as They :neyde:

TBH, I'm so lost in all these pronouns, it`s impossible not to offend someone...

Maybe they could delay because it wasn’t due till May 1st.  I’d imagine albums due out in 3 weeks are already ready to go and would lose millions if were rescheduled.

She's definitely not rescheduling.

I thought she might've but she's spoken publicly about the album and the virus, and has not suggested it would be delayed.

The Paper interview also re-confirmed the 10th April.

Sam Smith's original release was in May, and so it is easier for their team to reschedule.

Vinyl records and physical copies of Chromatica will have already been printed and it costs money to store those unnecessarily.

Promo can also be re-arranged for Sam because the delay is more in advance. Gaga has other magazine covers coming out to coincide with the album, which cannot be delayed.

Yeah and the physical copys are probably already shipped to their location and waiting in a warehouse somewhere for release day

Singular 'they' has existed in English for quite some time tho.

Gaga do the same  pls

All these people that are giving the sad reaction to this are the same people who makes the loudest noise when something Gaga releases doesn't have sufficient commercial success. The good sis could never win with these bottoms.
