I can only speak for myself, but I truthfully don’t care if you’re a guy or a girl, I call everyone sis. And I’m fairly certain most people do the same. And no, penis/vagina is literally the only way we can tell gender. So there’s no difference between science and classification. This whole thing is ridiculous and I can’t believe some people are going along with it. So that’s when you should nod your head and smile and respect someone else’s wishes to be called what they feel is correct for them, and not be disrespectful about it. Please. edit: I’m just saying this because fortunately we are moving closer to a more open minded society and generation that does not view gender as something so black and white. So you WILL have people correcting your pronoun mistakes and when that happens, the best response is to apologize for your mistake, even if you don’t agree with it, and carry on. ♥ Kindness Police. Good to know, so if I ever see someone correcting you on something, I’d better see you admit that you were wrong. You do realize that this isn’t a matter of right or wrong, right? It’s a matter of opinion. If you want to let others tell you how to refer to them, go for it. I’m going to continue using what humans have come up with, because there’s nothing wrong with it. I’m not harming him or anyone else. However, I have been issued a warning point (bc apparently people are incredibly thin-skinned here), so this will be my last response to you. I don’t think the warning point was a result of someone else being “thin-skinned”, but more so a result of something else. I really do hope you put more thought into respecting and ACCEPTING gender queer individuals. I know it may be a hard/confusing concept to wrap your head around- but humans are sooo much more complex and we are more than just “man” or “woman”. Traditional views on gender are problematic and not inclusive, IMO. Anyways- I am not trying to be rude or harsh- I am just passionate another promoting and encouraging acceptance. ♥ Kindness Police. Freud 5,668
tbh, to release an album called "To Die For" in the middle of a global pandemic would be problematic af. Good choice.

I think the most classy move is to push forward the release as a gift for fans on this difficult time, and showing everybody the charts are not that important. At least in streaming services, leaving the physical copies to be released later (a lot of artists, for instance Björk have done that in normal times.) Gaga should do this, or leaving everything as planned. Otherwise I would be deceived, and not just because I look forward to listening to Chromatica. Like that. 2School4Cool 6,449
I respect their decision, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t bummed, I’m really looking forward to the new album! Question though, and sorry if this is in the thread already, but what is your source for this? I haven’t heard any news from Sam directly, is this true? Edit: Never mind, I saw on iTunes the release day is shifted. See The Best In Everyone
Mars 2,379
I respect it if Gaga chooses to postpone, but Imma need Chromatica to get through self isolation...

I just wanted to say that I am absolutely not trying to imply that I support gender stereotypes. I’m simply saying that if someone asks you if you’re talking about a man or a woman, your answer shouldn’t be “neither” IMO. I hope you can at least understand my point of view, as I can understand yours.

Peroxide555 587
Okay... there are pros and cons to both. Gaga is a pop star in 2020 who thrived in the digital age, she's an album seller and always will be - physical copies are going to take a significant hit if she decides to go through with the release... selfishly, yes of course I want to hear the album as soon as possible, and I was so overcome with joy when we learned how quickly the album was coming after Stupid Love finally emerged... but I want Gaga to thrive with this era, I want her to have the best chance possible at a successful album run and going forward with the release is going put that in jeopardy. Whatever happens - happens, as a fan - I'll be happy if it arrives on it's due date, but God knows if I was Bobby, I'd be pushing this back till July. Peroxide555 587
The Weekend isn't going to be THAT effected because he mostly relies on streams... Dua is going to have a **** load of leverage going into her debut week with all the SPS Don't Start Now was able to amalgamate... (though granted as a pop star she would have relied on a lot of promo during her release week) Gaga doesn't have a certified smash, nor is she a streaming giant - a delay might suck in the short-term, but it might end up being the better alternative.
