Babylon? Just a promo single?

You better take that back.

You're right, the track doesn't even exist and what people think is the track is just a Haus Labs advert music track

Gaga: has a haus labs commercial featuring a house track with “frog noises” on it, rumors come up its titled Babylon and references “Battle for your life”

The interview: There’s a song on the album (that’s rooted in house music) that feature animal noises, where she single battle for your life, references to partying in the BC

What’s not clickin y’all we

This is not confirmed. Gaga never said this and that Haus Labs advert does not have "wild animal noises" lmao, its a vocal sample

Ok sis. Let’s see if the BC inspired dance track that has animal noises and include the lyrics battle for your life is in fact the rumored Babylon dance track featured on the haus labs advertisement that has animal noises and the lyrics battle for your life. :billie:

You don’t hear the frog noises “vocal chops”? :selena:

Now you know: Before today, the song on the advert (a dance house song that has frog like vocal chops) was rumored to be called Babylon, where she sings about battling for your life.

Today, we got word there is a dance song on the album inspired by BC (which just in case you don’t know, means before christ, the time when the city of Babylon was populated). The song features animal noises and the lyrics battle for your life. Now you know sis.

Believe what you want :vegas: Well see who’s right when the song is released b

Stupid Love is poised for a great run in the next few weeks as radio continues to stan it; the week after release was the perfect time for a promo single to help with the 2nd-week drop + give more exposure to the sounds of the album. This timeline is way too e*fing crunched, because I don't see how she can sell an album with just 1 song/sound for the GP to have heard beforehand, and if the Ariana collab is both true and it is going to be a single, she needs to get that fanbase hyped for the single and album. That means, the only real option she has IMO would be:

1. Release single #2, 'Rain on Me ft. Ariana Grande' (or whatever) the Friday before the album release + release a promo single 1 week after the album release, OR...

2. If both the 2nd single AND album are doing well, release a promo single 1 week after the release of Single #3, 'Babylon,' to increase streams and chart performance the 2nd week and test the waters for the desire for a 4th single.

An Ariana collaboration would succeed at doing the job of both a single AND a promo single; she just needs to get that fanbase on board before or during album sales week. The timeframe is WAY too condensed at this point to try and get two songs out there when her solo lead single debuted at #5 and just entered its 3rd week with massive potential to climb back toward the Top 10 with the radio support it has. She can't kill that momentum.

This album cycle will have failed if the success of SL - a return to mainstream dance-pop music after 7 years SOLO debuted at #5 and is her first radio smash in that same time period - is wasted on only one additional successful single, which is a collaborative effort. The Ari collab, if true, could definitely provide a lot of benefits to her, but SL's debut and radio presence show the appetite for *GAGA* and she needs to give us/them at least one more solo single for this to have been a true, permanent return to dominance.

Stupid Love (#5), Rain on Me ft. Ariana (#2), Babylon (#3) would be an amazing era. Stupid Love (#5), Babylon (#32 promo single), Rain on Me ft. Ariana (#13 after switches are made and rollout is sloppy because Babylon does better than expected), Random Single (#49) would be disastrous.

The way she's talked more about Rain on Me than "Babylon" (in quotation mark as it remains a concept) makes me believe RoM is the promo single and Babylon is the 2nd single

I can't see her making a song with Ariana just a promo single. It's def the 2nd.
