The album marks a shift from the previous dance-pop quality of Art Angels to a darker sound and while primarely an electro-pop record, the album contains influences from various styles and genres like industrial, nu-metal, grunge, rock, trance, darkwave, folk, drum and bass, neo-funk and psychedelic. The title is an alternation of the word misanthrope and album's theme relies heavily climate change, transhumanism, human intelligence, human ignorance touching at points on personal life struggles and containing fun moments as well in between the heavier tracks. 💜 RULES 🖤 1.
