She’s not delaying anything. She literally did a promo interview days ago and is doing it again today. She doesn’t need to express solidarity when her album is literally about unity, spreading love, and dancing through the pain.

I apologize if it seemed like I was taking my anger out on you, specifically. I wasn't. I'm just tired of people contemplating about whether or not she might delay the album. She's not going to, so I think that this speculation is pointless.

I personally have mixed feelings about it as well. I am really worried about everything. Just a week ago I was super sober about corona, but it hit me hard in the past few days that things are getting really crazy around me. At the same time, I could really use something to look forward to and to listen to. I check Gagadaily so much at the moment because Im thirsty for good news, but also theres a part of me that finds this trivial atm.

No problem. I could tell that your response was not the result of my thread but an accumulation of multiple posts about Gaga potentially cancelling or delaying the album, and I understand how my thread can seem like I am on the same page as them but they aren't actually.

I have been waiting for this album for as long as you guys did and I just thought it's a bit weird to make happy announcements when people are struggling for even grocery and basic necessities. Which is why I said that she can still proceed with plans as long as she acknowledges the current social climate.

That said however, current meetings and rehearsals have become very challenging for entertainers, hence why I said 'let's prepare (for the possibility) of delays'.

Not 'I hope this album gets delayed.'

Well, she has acknowledged the current social climate, though. Her recent Instagram and Twitter posts show that. I think though that the biggest thing to consider is if other artists  are delaying announcements and music first. Because like I said, Gaga shouldn't be the only one subjected to this. If other people started doing it, then fine, I can understand.

And like I said in my first post, I think that this would be the perfect time to release Chromatica. The album is about happiness and being able to "dance through the pain", and considering how the world is right now, I feel like a lot of people need that. I think Gaga sees that too. 

Finally, I think in terms of in-person promotion and live performances, there will certainly be delays and cancellations. That said, I suppose it's a good thing that Gaga hasn't confirmed any places where she's performing because if she did, and then she cancelled, I could see people getting into huge meltdowns.
