Hoping a heat wave strikes the USA in the next week or two. I've spent an arm and a leg on enigma for May.

I heard from many sources that COVID-19 doesn’t do well in the heat. So I hope this is true and they develop a cure by summer.

It doesnt erradicate it but transmission gets significantly reduced

Yeah Covid-19 for some time now we've known isn't a fan of heat. Even temperatures humane can manage in with still some degree of comfort like over 25C is not very good for the virus

Unfortunately I also read that because the virus is new and almost no one has immunity, it doesn't help a lot if virus dies faster on surfaces as it waits to find the next person to infect...

Because we're almost all susptible to getting it, we get it thru direct contact

Heat won't stop it's transmission when it's from person to person which is the main way people are getting it anyway

Italy and Iran are not exactly freezing Countries and the outbreak there was very significant. In fact South Europea has been hit with unseasonal heat waves throughout this winter. Didn't stop the outbreak from happening

If this is true then the spread of the virus should already have slowed here because it's getting hot AF :wtf:
