sillynate 6,170
STOP ANSWER THE POLL QUESTION BEFORE PROCEEDING PLZ THX So with Chromatica just around the corner, I thought I’d calculate the total amount of days each era has lasted. My procedures are as follows: lead single release date is the start date (I would’ve used lead single announcement dates but I couldn’t find the specific date Just Dance was announced ) and final tour date is the finish date (Gaga has never released a single after her tours have finished but if she had {like I think she will for Chromatica}, I would’ve counted that last single’s release as the finish date). Also, since ASIB is a soundtrack and had to follow a movie release schedule instead of a typical music release, the measurements are tweaked a bit. Trailer release date is start date and the night of the Oscars is the finish date. The Fame Spoiler Just Dance release date: April 8, 2008 (may vary per country) Album release date: varies per country - October 28, 2008 (USA) The Fame Ball opening night: March 12, 2009 The Fame Ball closing night: September 29, 2009 Total days this era lasted: 539 days The Fame Monster Spoiler Bad Romance release date: October 26, 2009 (may vary per country) Album release date: November 23, 2009 (may vary per country) The Monster Ball opening night: November 27, 2009 The Monster Ball closing night: May 6, 2011 Total days this era lasted: 557 days Born This Way Spoiler Born This Way (single) release date: February 11, 2011 Born This Way (album) release date: May 23, 2011 The Born This Way Ball opening night: April 27, 2012 The Born This Way Ball closing night: February 11, 2013 Total days this era lasted: 731 days ARTPOP Spoiler Applause release date: August 12, 2013 (release may vary by country) ARTPOP release date: varies by country - November 11, 2013 (USA) artRave: The ARTPOP Ball opening night: May 4, 2014 artRave: The ARTPOP Ball closing night: November 24, 2014 Total days this era lasted: 469 days Cheek To Cheek Spoiler Anything Goes release date: July 29, 2014 Cheek to Cheek release date: September 23, 2014 The Cheek to Cheek Tour opening night: December 30, 2014 The Cheek to Cheek Tour closing night: August 1, 2015 Total days this era lasted: 368 days Joanne Spoiler Perfect Illusion release date: September 9, 2016 Joanne release date: October 21, 2016 Joanne World Tour opening night: August 1, 2017 Joanne World Tour closing night: February 1, 2018 Total days this era lasted: 510 days A Star Is Born Spoiler First trailer release date: June 6, 2018 Shallow release date: September 27, 2018 A Star Is Born (film + soundtrack) release date: October 5, 2018 First televised performance of Shallow (Oscars): February 24, 2019 Total days this era lasted: 263 days RESULTS Spoiler The Fame: 539 days The Fame Monster: 557 days Born This Way: 731 days ARTPOP: 469 days Cheek to Cheek: 368 days Joanne: 510 days A Star Is Born: 263 days Longest to shortest: BTW, TFM, TF, J, AP, CTC, ASIB

Red 95,254
I was right lol. BTW era was long af and she teased ARTPOP for the most part of it, making it feel even longer. If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

TFM started out as being a more edgy version of TF era and had pretty much become BTW towards the last few Monster Ball dates. Except BTW didn’t really transition into ARTPOP, like the whole Fame perfume era (with Stache, brunette hair, Princess die, etc) was a whole moment. It was like a prelude/“the original ARTPOP” but not directly to do with ARTPOP since she had that time off to re create the era.
