Eating a wild alligator is not the same as eating an animal that had been kept in close quarters with dozens and dozens of other  animals in unhygienic conditions. The quote implied that it is.

Even if they didn't start it, the US is definitely playing the virus up in order to crash the Chinese economy. Using the opportunity to take out their biggest competitor. 

I almost wouldn't put it past the US government to do something like this tbh. It's such a big money and power game.

Does it matter? They are both evil. Chinese do awful things without hiding it, USA does it in the name of "Freedom", while they are just screwing everything up.

However, because the Chinese government censors everything under the sun, they lied about / cover up this viral outbreak. This is something that can destroy the Communist Party. Even today, we can't trust that their stats are correct.

In my opinion, there's only one party to blame and that's the Communist Party of China. If they were transparent, the world would've been able to get a grip on this earlier. Just look at Italy right now. It's sad.

Its not like we can trust any gov  look at the US, they have way too little reported infected people because they dont test people (but thats another conversation)

I dont think blaming whole countries/governements is the way to go. What are you gonna do with that? Feel a bit better because you can direct all the blame and the hate towards them? China didnt really know what they were dealing with, most of the early deaths arent even diagnosed because they resembled people dying from complications of a flu

Italy acted too late, but once again we cant blame them and should now support them instead of blaming them

"The origin" should refer to practices, not physical origin because epidemics start in all different places for different reasons. The #1 reason is mutations and the initial lack of understanding of the disease--it's treated like a cold before people realize it's something much worse. By this time, the disease has started spreading. Yes, of course, China could do a lot of things better but the issue isn't wild meat. Neither is it hygiene, considering simple practices like handshakes can spread viruses very fast.

You have not provided a source for animals being caged and stored with their own feces around them. That's a claim you made and didn't back up.
