Better to overreact than underreact.

No. Especially when the media is portraying this virus as if it’s the end of the world, when in reality we’re exposed to bacteria and viruses all around us on a daily basis. The doctors and scientists are literally saying to have good hygiene, wash your hands for 30 seconds, stay home if you’re sick, and avoid crowded areas. Literally common sense stuff. This overreaction by the public is a direct result of fear mongering by the media.

Not to mention that people are recovering from it, and the only ones that should be concerned are those that are elderly or with a compromised immune system.

Her team needs to postpone the tour. I have tickets to both European dates and I still think it’s a mistake to have them anytime in the next 6 months. They really need to wait for the dust to settle and see what needs to be done.

Flights are suspended in almost every region and it’s not looking to get better in the coming few weeks, infections are rising and could potentially keep growing until a government enforced cancelation of certain dates.

I live in Kuwait. We were supposedly controlling this well. Today we are in complete lockdown until March 29th and they will be testing over 50,000 people in the coming week.

Y’all are so obsessed with this coronavirus :saladga:

Almost one thousand italians are dead. Hospitals are choosing to treat people that r more likely to survive. There's even an actor isolated in his home, with the body of his dead sister. In what world are you living? Chromatica?

Maybe we are obsessed with it because thousands of people are dying every single day that passes. It is the biggest crisis that the world governments are facing after the end of World War II. Is it so difficult for some of you to prioritize? I live in Italy, one of the most affected areas by far, I have witnessed absurd situations, seeing very young boys and girls being transferred to intensive care units because they were dying and unfortunately some did not make it. Lady Gaga is an intelligent and responsible woman, I think she knows very well how serious the situation is and it is right that she protects herself and her team. If the physical promotion is postponed .. well, patience, she certainly already have a plan to digitally promote her new album by social media.

Worst case scenario a full blown quarantine will get rid of the virus in about a month

And it's people's choice to fall to obvious fear mongering. Can we say this was avoidable in anyway?

The moment someone dies, fearmongering is to start. Right now we're nearing a near 5k death count. In a world of 7billion people, that's not much, but those 5k people were important to someone or could have been important to someone.

We couldn't have avoided this if we wanted to. Either the media is holding information secret, or it's fearmongering with way too much media barrage. Take your pick of the negativity.

Let's focus on the lives of the people. Not what we personally think of this goddamn bullsh¡T.

With the misspelling in the title, I thought it read "Carinovirus" at first. :teehee:

The truth is: why would anybody, besides the fans, care about dancing, watching music videos and buying pop albums, when there's a virus affecting thousands of people who are losing money, loved ones and possibly their own lifes? Everyone is too afraid to think about pop music right now. We have other priorities, like being safe. Hope the world will be able to find distraction through music tho

Well Trump just imposed a travel restriction of people coming from Europe. It's a messy policy. Idk, we'll see.

I just really hope by April things will start to calm down a bit. Some people are calling this a non-event or just another virus that the media is over reacting about, but this is literally a worldwide crisis that was declared a PANDEMIC today, it is serious even if "young people are less likely to die", like... Really? I don't know about y'all but my parents are both above 40 and my grandmas are both abovr 70, and they are most likely to NOT survive if they infected.

I would literally wouldn't mind the Chromatica ball starting later this year rather than summer if things don't slow down, Gaga needs to take care of herself since her condition also affects her immune system. If things don't start to calm in two months from now I think the best option is to postpone the tour until further notice. It is a serious situation.
