I never said Trump would be better than Joe, what I meant to say is that wouldn’t physically die if he became re elected. 
 

and again, the polls show that M4A, climate action and better education are only extreme to the elite who control media narratives counter to what people believe in their hearts. 
 

But with their ads mostly being targeted to older people, it’s clear the MSM is gonna go extinct one day, while the internet is only on the rise, and the younger people support progressive values overwhelmingly. 

I won’t be bitter unlike Hillary when she resorts to middle school mean talk like with “nobody likes him,” but I will be disappointed and ready for the next round, but anyway,

Yes progressivism is sorely needed to advance good ideas. But progressivism without pragmatism is a pipe dream. 

If you're going to keep denying the quarter that you can have for a dollar that you can never have, then you're being your own worst enemy. He's not the only vehicle for progressivism and his supporters need to stop acting as gatekeepers of progressivism.

My biggest reason for not supporting him was not because I'm against progressive ideas. It's because he had no ideas how to achieve his own desired outcomes.

To bring about that change, he relied on a "revolution" that was based on probability. The young voters just didn't turn out for him in the numbers he wanted. That's how unsustainable his plan to achieve progressive success was.

I would add to your comment, that we shouldnt forget whats Trump's biggest asset/achievement, his economy, and well informed or not, people might fear losing that on the "socialist gamble", combine that with  the fact that the Coronavirus that might crash the US economy soon, and you really cant predict what voters are going to do. 

The most likely scenario from the looks of it, is that Trump will fail in his response to the virus, which might already automatically hand the dem nominee the win.

If it doesnt, you will have voters having to pick between Trump carrying the economy out of the crisis, and either trusting Obama's right hand, vs. Bernie's socialist gamble. I dont know about you, but I see a lot of people trusting Obama's right hand to fix Trump's likely Coronavirus failure.

Bernie fans underestimate the effect that the anti-socialist propaganda would get thrown on him could have on the general election. And bits like his comments on Castro just add fuel to the fire by the gallons. (They also underestimate the effect his heart attack would have on voters btw)

I think Bernie stans could have handled that well bc he doesn’t call for Venezuela, and Castro (whom Obama also praised, twice, for the exact same reason) and actually calls for Denmark. Even Chris Matthews says Denmark is harmless. 
 

The sweep Bernie would have done whew there was nothing Trump had on him, and even he knew that.

lol like today i messaged my friend to remind her to vote because she's originally from america. she was just laughing at how she's lucky she's now in canada because americans will pick the worst candidate anyways.

don't get me wrong. canada has had its fair share of questionable prime mininsters. however, there is this baseline in terms of citizens' rights that has always been maintained. in a historic moment during one of the debates for prime minsiter, the nominee for the most conservative (republican) party wrote out "NO TWO-TIER" (healthcare).  because both parties agree that universal healthcare IS indeed a human right.

Tea. Trudeau + other liberal parties needs to do more the climate, indigenous rights, housing and other things. I vote for NDP (think Bernie’s progressive left but it’s its own Canadian Party) but oh well we got him again. Luckily a coalition was formed so some progressive policies will get thru.

The only problem is the lack of political will to fight against the establishment and get it done. Every state, including conservative ass Alabama has majority support for Medicare For All. The people want it, so in time it will come.
 

Sad how a few hundred thousand more have to die for it to happen/people dont see the constant goal post shifting that has happened since FDR (a U.S. president from 1930s!) to “make tiny but moderate steps” to... clearly never getting it fully done

Don't worry, guys. Unlike boomers, we have an entire life of politics ahead of us. Bernie won the 18-44 vote by insane margins. He is what the future of the party looks like. We didn't win, but at least we can say more confidently than ever that the days of neoliberalism are numbered. As long as this generation keeps its convictions alive, time is on our side.  Stay hungry for justice. It's coming.

That age group is going to have to show up first. 

 

In some states, Biden won or was fairly even in those age groups , btw. Especially with AA and Women voters.

This. All the fights with moderates on this site and for no reason bc they’re not gonna win in the end anyways 💀 Anything to speed up the process tho

biden won ALL 83 counties here in MI. thats saying something huge! He is our best shot. And Mi had almost a Million more ballots due to no reason absentee voting!
