2020, 12 years into her carreer, an oscar, multiple hits, should we really care that much for how she’s doing on the charts? :rip:

What’s in a reverse-warholian expedition?

I think it's fine to want chart success, it means the label will give Gagz more promo and let her release more singles/albums. BUT Gagz needs to do some promotion on late night/daytime TV!

I’m sure it’ll stick around, especially if it keeps doing decent on radio. There’ll be a fall, but it probably won’t be that bad! I hope.

No matter how hard we wish for this to be true...

So radio is playing it and it’s steady on itunes — it’s merely being beaten by streaming giants?

As I understand it, yes

Really? Yaaaaaaaaas! :legend: Guess what I heard about them changing the Dance/Electronic chart rules was wrong

I think that's the rule for the Grammy Best Dance category

We may not care, but Gaga and her team sure do.

You don’t release a Max Martin and Bloodpop produced song, with an incredibly GP-friendly  music video that doubles as an Apple commercial, if you aren’t interested in chart/commercial success.

with a commercial song like SL, the chart is really the only measure of success... we can't play the art card here, the only purpose of this song is to be a hit on the charts...
