Its streams aren't fantastic no, but it definitely ain't a bomb. Still top 30 ww on spotify for a start. Radio seems to have taken to it in the UK and US, and just recently in Europe radios playlisted it (took them more time). Its not bombing like PI. This song isn't a smash, but it's definitely gonna be a hit. Top 30/20 WW and top 10 in English speaking countries. If the second single is not on iphone then that will be the real deal. She also always has much better songs that doesnt even get single treatment, maybe this time she'll go all in after SL chart run, ala PI->MR. Gaga and her team could easily do some promo for the song to help it but they’re actively choosing not to (for whatever reason). So if they aren’t too bothered, I would say just sit back and enjoy the song. I’m guessing that they’d rather spend this time planning and perfecting the rest of the era. Why waste promo on a song that realistically most fans have had for weeks? It’s doing fine without a push, so save the exposure for when it’s needed closer to the album. She got herself another top 5, she generated a big buzz, it’s catchy and radio-friendly - it makes sense to leave the song to ride the wave and focus on other things, especially if they know they have a huge hit waiting in the wings that they’re really going to push when it’s released.
