There are obviously some deeper layers to the song, but it is also supposed to be fun at the same time. After meteoric rise and exponential downfall that spiral her mental health for years, just be grateful she has the energy to just look all happy in Stupid Love video. She just need your f**king stupid love, let your intelligence work somewhere else in your other area of life, not focusing on daydreaming of the career choice of a girl human who happen to be a popstar. It went straight to #1 on dance charts and radio is picking up. What did you all expect? SL is Gaga’s gift to all those who missed her pop music. This is very likely just a happy, uplifting teaser for the album. She was trying sooo hard to give substance to her songs In ARTPOP while now she is just aiming for fun and love with this one. As for the video wtf? Choreography is incredible, it’s non stop high energy with beautiful, vibrant visuals. I think it’s among her best Don’t expect a repeat of Shallow, everyone was begging for pop dance and she delivered regardless of gp and charts. Just enjoy it. If you want to criticise it you can do it, of course. But since when do Gaga fans expect her to please the general public with a song so different from what’s on the charts? Anyhow, Stupid Luv is awesome and will have longevity!
