I'm still waiting for that day when deadmau5 would be fully embraced by the mainstream in a similar way David Guetta and Calvin Harris successfully did. His records, FML, I Remember, Raise Your Weapon among others are just incredibly good. It'd be an ultimate dream come true if he'd collaborate with the artists like Gaga sometime in the future. Personally, I regard him as the best out there right now who has not yet maximize his true potential as a producer and as a musician.

Haha my favorite has to be Strobe by a long shot! I remember the first time I heard it and when that bass dropped I was thinking "omg this is too perfect to actually exist. Is this real life?!"

Love her though. Btw, just came from a houseparty and they played Harlem Shake... I love it now It will be huge, but not as huge as GS. It's like Ai Se Eu Tu Pego (Nossa Nossa) and Balada (Tchê Tcherere Tchê Tchê). The first one was a world hit and the other one (who had a similiar impact) was a moderate hit in most countries. In my opinion that's happening again with HS being the moderate hit (obviously)

My 3 fave chart hits now are Thrift Shop, S&S, and Taylor's Trouble.

There are also a "Canadian Macklemore" with a decent song at #6 Can itunes.

HS is really addictive and isn't bad either. But I honestly cannot imagine listening to it in a radio nor radio overplaying it. I prefer TS at the moment.

I didn't say that you're avoiding it because it's a fad. It's just a song, though. Not the plague. It's not going to kill you if you hear at the club or on the radio. There's a gross overreaction from people whenever something unconventional makes it big. Everything from PRA to GS becomes a joke to y'all because it's electronic and light-hearted and the music industry is suddenly 'not like it used to be.'

Personally, I'll take HS over LOOH or IKYWT, but that's just me. You may not enjoy or appreciate HS, but that does not make it bad. Acknowledge your own bias.

EW if HS take the top of Billboard it's just so stupid I understand the success of GS,CMM,STIUTK, but this song is plain stupid I mean it doesn't has words in it and it's 30 seconds repeated for 4 minutes .....I want TS to be the leader of the whole year if the challenge is like HS(and btw TS ****s on all your faves it's 165413132x times better than GS,CMM and HS) if this is the new direction of music I'm going to lock myself in the closet and don't listen to anything till ARTPOP...it just and then GP thinks that Gaga is making trash

Glad that LOOH is back in the top 10 of iTunes again. :clap: His album might also jump back to the upper half of the top 10 of the Billboard 200 next week. Way to go for Bruno!

Haha I never cared for GS, either. Musically. But GS had a tendency to light up the room. It's the same deal with Thrift Shop. You just gotta love the energy those types of songs bring to people. I remember when Just Dance and Poker Face would do that.

Bad Romance and Telephone did it too. (4 huge bops from the same woman in such a short amount of time -- that is why Gaga was already being considered Queen of Pop)
