WarriorPrince 1
So Stay just got to #8 with a magic carpet ride and is going nowhere after this? Stay reached #8 by Magoo's calculations thanks to the hype from the fans, they are buying the song before the song gets radio support. The thing is, her sales are going down and she is slowlly getting radio support which means that it wont peak much higher than this.
Nagini 2,505
Ugh you're so quick to judge a song. Stay was JUST RELEASED. Give it some time..

Also the Grammys, and the rise that it was already getting alone from radio play before the Grammy debut.
craig 680
Pour It Up is currently her biggest radio song. 62 audience from Rhy & Urb combined, while Diamonds in 27 on pop and Stay is 25 on pop. HAC isn't playing any Riri song much at all.
WarriorPrince 1
Ugh you're so quick to judge a song. Stay was JUST RELEASED. Give it some time.. Why would I? Just give me your view on it. Also the Grammys, and the rise that it was already getting alone from radio play before the Grammy debut. Well exactly. The song is at its peak. It won't manage to get the sales it is getting this week everyweek. It just depends on radio support. The song has little radio support right now at its sales peak. Jake 0
Stay is not peaking. As soon as radio begins to catch up it will be a considerable hit. It's sales were bolstered by the Grammys. Of course radio hasn't caught up with it yet.
Arturo 40,746
My local Rhythmic station is whoring Pour It Up out. No sign of Stay
Tommymonster44 0
I'm sure that Stay's sales have peaked, but that doesn't make up the majority of Billboard's calculation. This thing was just released on Spotify a day or two ago. Songs take a couple of weeks to peak on Spotify, which will give it the streaming advantage. And pop radio this giving this a lot of support. It'll peak higher than 8. Rhythmic and Urban stations won't play this because of Pour it Up, unfortunately. I also doubt that HAC will pick this up simply because she's not a radio staple on that format. It's unfortunate, but I still feel that pop radio can make this song a hit. Just A Holy Fool 2,572
I can't believe how well Stay is doing... if it smashes on radio, I call payola. On a positive note, so happy to see Sweet Nothing by Calvin and Flo went top 10 on American pop radio

Tommymonster44 0
Rihanna has always been a pop radio staple. Even though Stay is a ballet, a lot of stations will play it just because it's Rihanna and she's been a hit maker for many years now. Contrary to this forums opinion, a lot of people actually enjoy this song. It's iTunes peak demonstrates this.
Ozzy8923 9
Did any of you really expect Stay to receive support OUTSIDE of Pop radio? It really only fits that format. I mean, it does suit HAC and AC but they don't ever play Rihanna so naturally the only format Stay appeals to is Pop. I believe her label believed the same thing, so they released Pour It Up to satisfy Rhythmic and Urban since we all knew Stay wouldn't do it. Smart move. Continue Rihanna's dominance in all 3 formats she appeals to. Pop, Rhythmic, and Urban.
chris777 112
Stay is going top 5, just wait. And the song it's doing good WW. C'Mon is rising (again) after been 45 on itunes for a while :Jase:
truthandfacts 0
So much delusion for Stay. :dead: I bet u said the same thing about diamond. Radio loves rih all they need is a little sign that the public likes it(which they already got with it topping itunes and is now in the hot 100 top 10 simply due to sale and no radio).Radio now has the confirmation to pay it to death. This album era could be long and neat if def jam plays their cards right.
