The top five's unchanged, as expected. Congratulations to Bruno Mars for his two top ten entries. It greatly reminds me of Katy Perry back then during her Teenage Dream era. And a huge congratulations also to Justin Timberlake as S&T returns in the top 10. Same with Maroon 5 as they've finally get another top 10 hit under their belt.

People are finally here again for a Rihanna ballad :legend:

Yes. And it's also great that ballads in general are performing very well these days.

US digital sales: Girl On Fire by @AliciaKeys feat. @NickiMinaj tops the 2 million mark. The song has sold 2,088,000 downloads.

Taylor Swift's No. 2-peaking "I Knew You Were Trouble" stays at No. 5. "Trouble," meanwhile, ascends to the Radio Songs summit (2-1) with a 2% increase to 133 million, dethroning Mars' "Heaven" after seven weeks on top. "Trouble" marks Swift's second Radio Songs No. 1, following "You Belong With Me" (two weeks, 2009).

Rihanna performed her latest single, "Stay" (featuring Mikky Ekko), and it sees a dramatic 289% gain in sales -- debuting at No. 25 on the chart with 67,000. It sold just 17,000 the week previous.

Beyonce got a little bit of a sales bounce from her half-time performance at the Super Bowl, but not a lot. Her top-selling song in the first full week following the performance was “Crazy In Love†(featuring Jay-Z), which sold 33K copies during the week. It was followed by “Halo†(32K), “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)†(22K) and “Love On Top†(18K). But compared to the 104 million people who watched her performance, those sales tallies are puny.

Mumford & Sons' "Babel" set to return to #1 in the US

Very small Grammy effect compared to last year's winner.

Mumford & Sons' 'Babel' Set for Return to No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart

By Keith Caulfield, Los Angeles | February 12, 2013 7:13 PM EST

In the glow of its Grammy Awards win for album of the year, Mumford & Sons' Babel is set to return to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart next week.

Industry sources suggest that the album could sell 150,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, Feb. 17 -- easily making it the top seller on next week's Billboard 200.

On the current week's chart, which reflected the sales week ending the night of the Grammy Awards (Feb. 10), the album jumped 7-4 on the Billboard 200 with 54,000 (up 50%), according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Babel is also benefitting from two new deluxe versions of the album that were released on Feb. 5. The first, available exclusively at Target, includes three bonus live tracks. A second version, dubbed the Gentlemen of the Road edition, was widely released and boasts 12 extra live cuts.

A year ago, in the week after the Grammy Awards, the biggest winner from the night -- Adele -- saw her 21 album earn a whopping 207% gain. It held at No. 1 that week, moving from 237,000 to a stunning 730,000 sold. The diva earned six trophies at the 2012 Grammy Awards ceremony, and also made her return to the performance stage after throat surgery.

This year, unlike at the 2012 ceremony, there wasn't one single artist that stole the spotlight. Thus, we'll see the impact of the show spread across a number of acts -- including Mumford & Sons.

Bruno Mars, fun. and the Lumineers all look to be the biggest sellers this week -- in terms of Grammy-related albums. All four were performers and nominees on the show, with fun. taking home both the song of the year and best new artist trophies.

Mars' Unorthodox Jukebox might sell around 80,000 (up from 41,000 this week and 37,000 a week previous), while fun. might shift 70,000 with Some Nights (up from 30,000 this week and 16,000 a week ago). While Mars was only up for one trophy (and it wasn't presented on-air), his performance was arguably one of the highlights of the show. He performed the album's "Locked Out of Heaven" with Sting and then segued into Bob Marley's "Could You Be Loved" with Rihanna, Ziggy Marley and Damian Marley.

Meanwhile, the Lumineers' self-titled set might shift somewhere in the 70,000 range -- up from 39,000 this week and 32,000 a week earlier.

Innovative

I hope Semi Precious Weapon's new song Aviation High does well. Probably won't chart because people don't know them but going off the YouTube video of it, I really like the song. Can't wait for the studio version to drop Feb 18

So, Taylor Swift finally toppled LOOH out of the top of Radio Songs chart. It's #1 in Pop Songs and now #1 in overall Radio. And Rihanna has yet another top 30 hit as Stay greatly benefitted from the GRAMMYs sales boost. Here for it to keep climbing in the charts. :excited2:

Not as involved in this thread because there is almost nothing charting I care about. Music is just awful right now... Very boring.

I'd be already happy as long as Stay out-peaks You Da One - which it seems it really would. Stay is going in the top 10 next week for sure. :famous:

Mars tied his record again:

"Mars' "When I Was Your Man" flies 22-9 with top Streaming and Airplay Gainer honors on the Hot 100, becoming his 10th top 10. The piano ballad propels 49-18 on Streaming Songs (663,000, up 31%) and 51-30 on Radio Songs (40 million, up 46%). On Digital Songs, "Man" likewise makes a notable move, rising 7-4 (159,000, up 52%). With "Heaven" at No. 2, Mars is the first male artist to place two titles as a lead act in the Hot 100's top 10 simultaneously since his own "Grenade " and "Just the Way You Are" doubled up for eight consecutive weeks in December 2010/January 2011."

Yay for Alicia Keys' Girl On Fire with Nicki Minaj topping the 2 million mark in digital sales. Another single which Nicki's featured in is also close to being 2x-platinum as BAAB tops 1.95 million in overall sales this week.
