nick4bty 2,758
I just want to dedicate another post to how sad it is that Legend X and Ke$ha are flopping. Both albums are not bad at all, nor are there singles. Your Body was actually a fantastic single choice, but no one was here for it Just a Fool has the potential to be her next definining moment, but even less people are here for that :laughga: And Ke$ha, poor girl. Warrior is a fantastic pop album. But C'Mon flopping and her album flopping are pretty much sealing her fate right now. Sad. We could use more alternatives to Gaga/RihRih/Katy tbh. ------ Meanwhile, has anyone seen this? http://music.yahoo.c...-174830930.html This b---h is going off the deep end. I didn't think it was possible for me to hate her even more, but after the Grammys and now this, I just can't.
Ozzy8923 9
It's cause X-Tina magically thinks that people will start caring. The good sis did not do one string of promotion for that song AT ALL aside from one measly performance on Jimmy Kimmel. One performance on Jimmy KImmel is not going to revive a career now is it? And her damn performance on the Voice was not even of a single! And JAF still doesn't have a video. A video is one of the key elements to promote a song. And why did she perform Blank Page @ the PCA's? Why not an actual single?! It's all just a flat out mess. And I understand that I have no right to complain about promotion when my fave is Britney Spears but at least she performs songs that were actually released and makes MUSIC VIDEOS. craig 680
i'm just assuming that no one here knows what streaming is on the billboard chart rules :pressed: It is services like Spotify and Rhapsody, where people can listen for free (or for a monthly subscription) and the artist gets a minimal fee based on amount a song is played. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotify I don't think it includes youtube views, but not 100% sure. craig 680
Anyone notice that Rihanna fans have a distinct buying pattern? They never give her a jackrabbit start when a song is released (Diamonds trailed We are Young a long time), but once a single is surging into top 10 they pile on and push it to the top. Lot of indie rockers and Timberlake had a bigger initial boost from the Grammies - from people watching the show. But now the Navy is jumping in and supporting the single. The problem is, while Rihanna these days may surge for a few weeks, I doubt if it will last until this song is big on radio. Likely a decent top 10 hit, but not top 3. Nagini 3,312
just what I've already said, I'll respect whatever their decisions are. ------------ http://www.youtube.c...2rtcXJbs[/media] this performance is the most watched among the grammy 2013 performances so far. Bruno and Rih tribute to Bob Marley was just so epic, esp. Bruno's part. Glad their performances paid off and now their songs are slaying the charts. look at that man's face behind CB (3:05) :lmao:
