Swift's steps if things worked out differently. Whatever Taylor did right during SN to prepare for Red, it wasn't about having a lot of radio and itunes hits after the album launch. Jake 0 Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 I agree about ARTPOP. (With the tour laying the foundation globally for it to be succcessful) Except the music needs to be good too. You can lay all the foundation and shore up your fans all you want, but if the music is bad it wont sell. I doubt her music would be bad though For as long as she's waited to put it out, the album better be damn good. We got the album title in August and right now it's looking like we might have to wait until the tour ends for any new music. She really needs to stop making announcements so far in advance. She's been diligent and quiet as far as I'm concerned. VERY few sneak peeks and she's only showed us a small amount of lyrics and names that fans SPECULATE are song titles when Gaga herself never confirmed any of them as official sans Burqa & Girl Under You, Ratchet, and Red Flame. - Adele COULD of been a touring force had she done bigger venues but she admits to having extreme stage fright and prefers the intimacy of small venues. If she did arenas, she would of sold them out. The sales of the Royal Albert Hall DVD show the GP's interest in Adele as a performer not just an artist (that DVD is also Diamond, over 1 million sales in the US alone). - Christina flopped because she didn't promote. Promotion does more for a song now than a video or radio airplay. And her personality isn't the most appealing either. - Ke$ha is a flop. - YES, it is rumored that Timberlake is set to release a new album. Apparently there were rumors that he is featured in Beyonce's lead single. Possible but unlikely. - So far, Britney Spears allegedly is set to work with will.i.am and Hit Boy on album #8. Expect more urban tracks but with a pop twist. - Releases to expect: - Beyonce. - Gaga. - Timberlake. - Britney. - Rihanna. - Katy Perry. 2013 will be fun as hell for us pop lovers.
