Interscope is easily one of the best, or the best, label in the industry. They MADE Lady Gaga into a global icon.

She'll be fine.

Those hoping for 22 to flop look like they will get their wish.

The one T. Swift single I like

:lmao:

Wanna know whats sad?

Taylor Swift has NO singles charting on country radio.

She made a huge mistake this era. Her global appeal grew, but nearly not to the level of stars like Gaga/Rihanna/Katy still and she vastly damaged her image as a country star.

Similar to Gaga (not bashing) in the sense she still had commercial success, but the storyline on her tells something different. Also should be noted, that for such a blockbuster start to the era, she won't be outselling BTW.

Also, I'll add this, T. Swift has NO singles in the Top 10 on iTunes in the US, UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, or Australia.

Again, the push for global dominance was a mistake. She shouldve stuck to country.

her only pop single should have been IKYWT, as a lead single she should have pulled her best country record on the album.... but I don't care about her anyway...

I don't see Red being any threat for AOTY. It may get nominated to pull in audience, but it won't get the award.

I hope both good kid m.A.A.d city and The 20/20 Experience get nominated for AOTY in 2014.

Can't believe Suit & Tie is headed for #1 on radio. Though I feel Bruno will probably take it fairly quickly.

1 = MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWI... Thrift Shop f/Wanz 157.018 -1.285
2 = JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE Suit & Tie f/JAY Z 156.188 +3.973
3 = BRUNO MARS When I Was Your Man 152.732 +3.193

Also #1 when combined on iTunes. Who would've thought it.

2012/2013 really are the years of the male return to music.

Lady Gaga and Katy Perry who?

As a fan of Bon Jovi, I could not be happier when they've got their 5th #1 album in the Billboard 200. And speaking of the Billboard 200, Timberlake, the 20/20 Experience is bound to become his 2nd #1 album. Hopefully, the earlier projections of around 500K in its full opening week would indeed materialize.

On the other hand, Maroon 5's streak of success was stopped with their 3rd single.

Bruno is bland and generates little buzz.

JT once debuted with over 2 million, so you'd expect a strong album debut. Sales of S&T are lagging behind radio. And it seems radio will support the first single of any big artist providing it isn't obnoxious to listeners.

Has anyone had 3 really dominant singles from an era since Katy's TD, Rihanna's Loud, and Adele's 21?
