The Stranger 4
Yeah whoever said that 2013 is shaping up to be a horrible year in music is right. Like all these stupid ass pop-folk songs need to leave. I'm pretty open minded when it comes to music, buy Ho Hey and Home need to....leave :toofunny:

nick4bty 2,758
i dont understand how people arent sick of her Because just about every one of her singles is backed up by a radio deal. Her label won't allow it, and radio is forced to play, which means people are forced to like it. It makes sense. Her sales have never been extraordinary by any means. Tommymonster44 0
Stay is doing very well for a second single. Let's not forget that this is her first second single since 2009 to NOT benefit from fan sales. Because both YDO and WMN were released before the album so fans were motivated to buy the single since they didn't have it. That also includes Judas. Gaga's last second single. Who knows where it would of peaked without the fan sales? :toofloppy: Anyways, this is really the first time in a long time that Rihanna took a longer break between singles. WMN was released while OG was still charting and it actually reached #1 BEFORE OG did! That's how close together those singles were. And YDO was released 6 weeks after WFL. This time her label actually waited a good 4 months to release Stay to radio, release the video, and promote it. I feel like this era will be more organized and less rushed. Maybe a longer break between albums? A spring/summer 2014 release instead of November 2013? It all comes to question. Glad to see her taking it slow. I think the label learned their lesson after YDO. Basically, I believe that they were trying to pull another OG and WMN. But the way that those two songs played out was extremely lucky and also a fluke. It was unrealistic for them to expect that anything short of revolutionary would be able to dominate the charts when WFL was still peaking. Obviously it didn't work out and they are being more careful this era.
