truthandfacts 0
I failed to see how did Stay got 24 millions views in just 4 days... while S&T got only almost 3 millions Clearly, it is the way of Payola... tsk, tsk. People need to stop trying to hard get #1 in single. But if they want #1, they should do promo rather than payola.... Bad romance got about 100mil in 5 days. Its possible for rih to do 24m in 4 days

HOTRODSGAGA 81
Rihanna is having Born This Way like era with Unapologetic. She shifted from her original genre and the GP ain't got time fo dat.

One thing I admire is how she hedged ehr bets with Pour It Up and Stay - two moderate hits at once = one smash. I wish Gaga could have manged something like that. Stay will be a Yuyi size hit. No tbh :( What I like about gaga is that she has an era for every single and that's something she can't have if the singles are released together/rushed. Rihanna's strategy means she can be an urban, a dance, and a ballads artist at once. One single at a time means (1) every song must be general (or generic) enough for several US radio formats + Europe or (2) promoting singles you know will likely flop in one area or another. Yuyi should never have been a European single.

Rihanna's label is probably the best label ever. But I''m kinda glad gaga got dropped from it tho

Tommymonster44 0
Pour It Up is better then Stay tbh. Stay will drop in the charts anyways I'll try to remember that. RIHANNA – Stay f/Mikky Ekko: 29.639 (+ 1.905) #3, #89 & #1148 iTunes Bad romance got about 100mil in 5 days. Its possible for rih to do 24m in 4 days That is possibly the most outlandish comparison I have ever heard. Bad Romance: A debut electro-pop artist releases an fast upbeat song for the first single off of her rerelease Stay: An established pop star, usually labeled as a dance artist, releases a ballet for her second single off of her seventh album. Haha these songs are basically polar opposites. I now go back to my previous comment of how this forum is trying to downplay Stay's success. Everyone is throwing a hissy fit because it's performing way better than you guys anticipated.

Everyone is throwing a hissy fit because it's performing way better than you guys anticipated. I personally don't like the song because of the song it's just not my cup of tea, and for 2nd single I expected to be going way better than how is going now giving it the hype after the Grammys and here I'm hating that is 2nd single because there are way better choices on the album than Stay It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely

Rated R's second single was Hard, which peaked at 8. This song has already done better than both of those songs. Stay isn't the largest second single, but it's important to look at the song in context with the rest of Rihanna's career. This single's performance is meeting the realistic expectations that should be expected of a second Rihanna single.
Arturo 40,746
22 is ****ing horrible. I hope it flops while Rihanna is slaying with Pop and Urban hit singles. "Make fun of our exes" Like seriously, are you in middle school? Either way, I'm just happy IKYWT didn't top the BB Hot 100 :hor:
