Ozzy8923 9
Please tell me that this is a fan made album cover. But yes, it is confirmed her next lead single will be "Here's to Never Growing Up" I'm pretty sure it's real. You'd have to confirm with another source, but chances are high. :toofloppy:
Tommymonster44 0
I'm pretty sure it's real. You'd have to confirm with another source, but chances are high. :toofloppy: I was hoping for an Avril Lavigne comeback this year, but this song might get censored on iTunes for it's disturbing cover. It's going to take a while before I recover from the blindness it inflicted. Hopefully the music is good.
Ozzy8923 9
Well, judging by the title, it'll be another juvenile mess. There were supposed to be so many "comebacks" this year and the only one who managed to prevail was the one who never left. Britney Spears. And then of course there's Gaga who will slay hoes. Deacon 5
That cover is definitely fake - it's not even her shopping-spree-at-Hot-Topic style lol. I can already hear the "Hey Mickey!" beats for this new song.

Americano 31,061
Most people perform songs they're nominated for when they perform at the Grammys if they aren't debuting new material. Like when gaga performed poker face in 2010 Did you decide to only read half of my post? * What the **** is this Avril? Of course, YOU would be the one to make a song about never growing up. CoolTrainerTerry 1,425
I would never deny Katy her relevance--she's one of the biggest in the Pop game right now outside of Gaga (if we consider Adele somewhat adjacent to Pop). But it's also true that she *is* seen as the Pop star who's quite happy just having fun, easy hits. Nothing about her is challenging or all that terribly interesting (the way Nekci Menij parodies her is actually a pretty good barometer of the way she's culturally viewed). And the thing is, I've always liked Katy as a person. She seems very pleasant. My problem stems from the fact that I honestly think she just doesn't make good music. Dr. Luke has practically turned her work into one-note, and it's a pretty dull note at that (as is most of Luke's production). And her song writing is dull, too. Not to mention that releasing Ur so Gay and I Kissed a Girl on the same album is just...problematic. I don't think she meant any harm by it at all, but it still leaves a sour taste. I just don't think, to this point, she's done anything all that good. She's had a few catchy songs, but again, as I've always said, if you're in the mainstream pop game, if you're not creating catchy music, you're doing something wrong. An earworm does not a good song make. Yes, she's insanely popular. But so is Michael Bay. Michael Bay makes bad movies, and to this point, Katy Perry has made not great music. I wish her the best, and I'll gladly embrace her if she starts to churn out interesting work--cuz, like I said, I think she seems lovely--but to this point I've just not been impressed. Katy Perry is the Michael Bay of pop music. Avril's cover looks so photoshopped. It looks like they just plugged her head into the outfit. I'm calling it a fake. I hope.
