WarriorPrince 1
No she's got at least two more singles on RED that are waiting to smash They might smash but no one will care about them WW and even in the US after a few months. It's like Katy Perry back in the day, zero impact.

It's like Katy Perry back in the day, zero impact. Please, Katy Perry is the third most successful digital artist in history. She obviously has had impact because people care about her enough to buy her material tens of millions of times over.

Tommymonster44 0
Sales =/= Impact Sales =/= Quality Sales don't equal quality, but they equal impact. Millions of people wouldn't spend their money on a song when they could if it for free unless they cared about it.
craig 680
With over 20 millions followers each on twtter and successful tours, you really can't equate Katy and Taylor with Flo Rida.
heavymlover 340
You have to give Katy some credit, whether you like her music or not. I'm not a big fan, but I admire that she has acomplished so much in just a few years. Perhaps her image/work is not as risky or iconic as Gaga's, but she has done a pretty good job as a pop star in my opinion.

Katy might not have been the music ruler at one point like Gaga has, but her impact is undeniable. People still care about her.
HausOfBee 0
She's so boring. Looks like RED is her sell out album. RED isn't a sell out in my opinion, it's not any less country than Speak Now is. People just love to hate whoever is on top at the moment which is similar to Gaga at the beginning of the BTW era. They might smash but no one will care about them WW and even in the US after a few months. It's like Katy Perry back in the day, zero impact. Just because a song doesn't smash WW doesn't mean it has no impact. Taylor Swifts domestic market is NA and she is dominating it at the moment. There's nothing wrong with dominating one lane rather than being okay in all lanes.

Arturo 40,746
It can't pass 49 mill on Vevo because the video sucks and its long. The single was Gaga's first, out of all of her singles, to not chart within the Top 20. It was her 13th single right? So it took her 13 singles to not chart within the Top 20. Even then charting within the Top 40 isn't the worst accomplishment. Its obviously Gagas first true non-hit on paper, thats real. But...considering her track record it still wasn't that bad from a fan perspective lol like idk why people act like it was this immense failure. Look at Nicki Minaj's singles for the re up....those went nowhere lol thats a shame It was her 12th single. And ~49M isn't that bad for a Top 30 single when Ke$ha went #2 and barely has 33M on Vevo
