True. It took Bey 10 years and M 30 years

Yeah but Beyonce is Beyonce, Madonna is Madonna and Lady Gaga is Lady Gaga. Everybody follows his own path and Lady Gaga has done everything before others so she can do it too! I mean there is not a certaim career path everyone follows his own, this is the interesting part!

Even if Adele releases this year, she probably won't be half the juggernaut she was in 2011. As evidenced from Skyfall's lackluster sales (it was played in full during one of the biggest movies of 2012) people have moved on. I love Adele, but she was really just a hipster fad. She'll be big, but not nearly THAT big.

Definitely, specially if she decides to keep playing her ''No music videos, no promotion, no tour'' campaign. I'm sure she'll have a great opening, but I can see the Norah Jones effect happening again if she doesn't play her cards right.

That would be pretty cool, but I think she doesn't have enough big hits to perform. Don't get me wrong, mostly all her singles have done pretty well, but people don't want to hear MTN, Love Game or Judas. They want Poker Face, Bad Romance and BTW or TEOG in my opinion. At some point I would love her to do a super bowl, but just to solidify her legacy and bring back all her biggest hits, and I think it's still too soon for that... Perhaps a couple of years more.

Well I think that Lady Gaga has more than enough hits to perform on Super Bowl, she has bad romance, pokerface, Paparazzi, the edge of glory, born this way, and maybe alejandro and just dance. They are more than enough and all these songs have made a lot of impact to the public!

Yeah, 2013's competitors are looking pretty messy right now. Inb4 Katy's new era is a mess too and Gaga rises back to the top :legend:

Sup guys, I missed you all! Especially Bry ;)

We were so worried about Gaga's competition this year... Now they all seem to be falling apart and she's got the year practically all for herself lol

I won't be so sure. Beyonce's strategy is to draw out her promo for as long as possible throughout the year. Also, Taylor seems to be doing as much as she could to remain discussed, while Britney and Katy may also release this year. We know how these girls operate.

On a general note, I hate the charts these days.

Another record for Taylor Swift. Congratulations to her. If only she'd use the streaming services, she will be unstoppable in this era.

In the midst of the months-old S&S outselling the recently released S&T, Justin Timberlake has some few words about his former girlfriend, Britney Spears.

Even JT respects Britney Spears, after all these years. How sweet of him to say.
