They just seem to be all over the place and not sure what to do. Blank Page is a good song, and they probably want her to show off her vocals, but one performance is not going to sell an album better than a well performing single would - she should be doing promo for Just a Fool, plain and simple. It's also among her top-selling singles in the entire SoundScan era, even more than Gimme More, Hold It Against Me, and I Wanna Go. "Piece of Me" was released during the tail-end of her breakdown - post-2007 VMAs when she was dating Adnan Ghalib, lost custody of her children, and ended up in the psych ward twice. The video made very little impact and wasn't well-received (the 08 VMAs were used by management and MTV as publicity for her big comeback). It's suprising it did as well as it managed to. It's catchy and quite addictive. And yes, it also helped a lot that Britney Spears is featured on it since her fanbase is arguably one of the most loyal in terms of delivering single sales. That's true. it's not because people are craving. it's just a catchy club music from well-known names. Britney is well known, and Will is too but none of his other songs aside from Black Eye Peas have done well that's why I was surprised by the success of the song but I guess you can't go wrong with Britney!
