Adele definitely did not deserve Best Short Form Video, but the Grammy nomination committee has no clue when it comes to that category lol Well, except in 2011 I totally forgot about that! I can't argue with the numbers though. She definitely is among the elite icons of our generation. Her musical accomplishments at this far into her career are incredible. All of her contemporaries from back in the day have retired to Flopville (Christina, Jessica, etc.) Though, those two have their own brands (The Voice / Jessica Simpson Clothing) ... A lot of the singles she may have left are songs that ring a bell with the same themes of being free/yourself/etc. but Gaga beat the crap out of that during BTW. Not always lyrically, but she flooded the media with that concept/idea thinking about Kesha's whole career it seems to me that there are a lot of things that were "influenced" by Gaga. We R Who We R was released short after Gaga's announcing Born This Way. Cannibal was released as an EP, I guess in hope to repeat The Fame Monster's success. Warrior's rock, 80's influences theme which was an inspiration for Born This Way.
