She relies on her looks just as much as any other female pop star does tbh. You don't need to look far on Youtube for a live performance to see just how talented she is vocally and so effortlessly as well. I think a lot of people under estimate her drive and work ethic.

A great example is how she proved so many of her haters wrong about her being "lazy" or "not having any stage presence".

She also doesn't wear revealing outfits much like previous pop contemporaries. The girl was in baggy tracksuits and jeans during hear first LP. I'm excited because Dua is literally going to serve one of the greatest pop era's in the last decade tbh and she's only still an upcoming pop star from the UK. Love her

I'd say no more than other popstars. She's never done highly revealing music videos, nor is her personal style highly sexualised. What I found weird was that I never really heard anyone refer to her as hot, even though she quite clearly is. I thought she'd be top of every sexiest list since she got famous but apparently not. That's the bit that surprises me, so based on that, I don't think people are buying her music based on her looks. And I have to say, even as someone who wasn't a fan of her debut, her new stuff sounds good, so there you go.
