Flanders' pop taste is influenced by one or two radiostations. There is this one big station Q-Music who did everything for PI to fail. I was so mad back then. They did like Shallow, so it got the attention it needed. I hope they play SL loads so people start respecting Gaga again (as being one of the biggest pop stars). Heard it once or twice already now. In Wallonia it debuted at #44. Glad I don't live in that part of Belgium. To explain: Belgium is divided in three parts. One part is Flanders (Dutch), one part is Wallonia (French) and then we have a third very small German part (I don't think they even have a separate chart system). EDIT: Oh yeah, Brussels (our capital) is a region too where they speak Dutch and French. So actually we have four parts. But the chart in Flanders counts for Brussels too. It's complicated haha. In Brussels they speak Dutch and French. In Flanders Dutch and in Wallonia French. You are also right though. We have a Dutch and French district (Flanders and Wallonia) and the district of Brussels but Belgium is also divided into a Dutch community, French community and a German community + Brussels. We're a really weird country politically speaking. We also hold the record for longest period without a government because of the differences between the districts. Q-music has been rather distant to everything gaga-related so the 2 spins a day she's getting are a good sign already. I can see it climb higher in the coming weeks.
