SL is difficult to blend in the trend right now, where everyone is releasing mid-tempo with trap production. Its production makes it inaccessible to GP aka gen Z and those listening to urban. Tik tok is random factor (DSN is lucky that tiktok kids pick that song) But we cannot win regardless Gaga is not a streaming force like Selena at the first place. With or without promo, Selena still can pull big streaming number with ease by her monthly listener. but I’m grateful we have radio on our side now and it still has impressive debut week regardless.
