I just think about Blinding Lights, Don't Start Now, Say So all having these 80s poppier influence and they needed some to grow to get that into people's heads in urban centric US. Also I’m not sure why we arent allowed to discuss it on this thread when it’s specifically correlated to our fave’s schedule for the album release and the start of a ww tour which, imo, is very likely to be cancelled. Stupid Love is a bit of a hard pill to swallow for some. It's a little too "loud" and bright for some I think.
