Seems to me that it's not gonna do so great. 

That's fine, though - I love the song so much. It's easily one of my favourite Gaga singles. 

I'm sad to see it isn't gonna SMASH.

But I think I'm gonna check out of the charts thread now.  For me, it can really cast a cloud over the joy and excitement of a new era. Gaga's back making pop music and she's delivering an album that seems to be for us fans - so I'm gonna appreciate that, and not worry so much about what the public think. 

There's nothing any of us here can really do, anyway. If the GP (and radio) don't totally get behind SL, then, it's gonna fall anyway - regardless of what us Little Monsters do. 

I love the song, love the video and am loving this era. I'm really not about to let charts and 'success' taint what I think is gonna be Gaga's last big pop era for a long, long time. 

So... I hope the song grows, but if not, whatever! We're officially in a new era, and no chart position is gonna take away from that. AND we've got a whole album of brand new songs - that's what I'm gonna focus on. 

Good luck to everyone in here with the tracking - but try not to let it taint your enjoyment of the Chromatica era  It'll be over before you know it, and you'll end up spending more time focused on what everyone else thinks about new music, than what you think. 

This era seems to be about spreading positivity and joy - and the machine of the music industry can be pretty joyless at times.

Also, just as a side note, a lot of the Katy Perry 'hate' on here seems really disappointing and unfair. 

Katy has been greatly affected in the past by her commercial success, and we know she struggles with her mental health and public perception. 

I think it's sad that Gaga fans would put Katy down like this, especially when she's just announced she's pregnant. 

I don't love Katy's music, but to drag her for a perceived lack of success seems really harsh - particularly when you think about what Gaga has been through, too. 

And, remember, success is relative. Katy's out there earning millions, making music, starting a family and living a life that most of us could only dream of. She's doing great. No Spotify update is going to change that - and the same goes for Gaga.

The figures you posted are the midday. Chart data figure is the for the Spotify chart.

That’s from Spotify Charts, they only count the Real total Streams from that day and meanwhile Midday Updates also count the repeat streams. Like after you stream Stupid Love, you’ll play it again which is counted for Middays.
