Have our standards fallen so low that we are seriously gonna compare a lead single to Taylor's 4th single that was out way after the album to feel better?

Because it's Taylor Swift. Her videos are currently the standard for views for A-list female popstars.

It's barely getting 1 million views per day now and it's only been like 5 days since the video was released...

That may be so but that Standard is still comparing Apples to Oranges when ur talking a lead vs a 4th single

Later singles sometimes can get a good amount of views of the single catches on and becomes a big hit

But they never have the hype and surge and front loaded innitial views leads do especially when it's among artists with big fan bases that anticipate the lead

I realize she's the Standard for A-list female artists that's why I made the comparison... But with Taylor's lead because then we are actually making a comperable comparison :emma:

You seem to be oblivious to how powerful Taylor is when it comes to Youtube views. ME! is I think the second most viewed video in 24 hrs. Look What You Made Me Do held the first spot back when it came out. Gaga has never had that power on Youtube. The comparison is ridiculous and the way you came to this thread only to say all of this is even more ridiculous.
