I was talking about "the times the same comments were made about them" so clearly not about this one thread only but glad you made it once at least.

And I see plenty of similar posts against sanders supporters since months and months that you, and the people who liked your post, ignored.

My bad you don't only care for rude post when it's against your "side", you essentially care for it and eventually can make an exception when it's for others. It's already better indeed. :D

I’m a little confused here. Are you upset that I haven’t spoken up against users who have made disparaging comments against Bernie, when an overwhelming majority of the disparaging comments being made about candidates on this forum are coming from Bernie supporters? So not only am I obligated to not say negative things about your candidate, but on top of that I MUST police other people who say negative things about your candidate and I NEED  to do it every time it happens or it’s not good enough for you? While I’m a firm believer in not fighting fire with fire and holding people on both sides accountable, you must admit that it is preposterous that someone who claims to be a historian of the interactions in these threads would, as a Sander’s supporter, try to scold supporters of other candidates for having rude things to say about your candidate. How many times did you stand up to the people calling Pete a rat or a corporate shill or Biden senile? If you showed me evidence of you doing that, my response probably wouldn’t be “Oh I’m glad you did that once.” :spin:

I’m sure you see why this is absurd.

Let me make myself clear, I do not respond to toxic, negative, and non-substantive posts about the candidates PERIOD. The reason I have decided to do this is because Sanders supporters made this forum such a toxic place for anyone who did not have Sanders as their first choice for the past few months. I welcome you to look at my posting history, you’ll see I have consistently stood for no-name calling or maliciousness on either sides of the field. You’ll see that in this thread, you’ll see it in the New Hampshire thread.

Please forgive me if I tend to prioritize defending myself and other users on this forum than I do on defending some millionaire senator who will never read these posts (even though YOU yourself have admitted that I have defended him :saladga:). I think most people here would agree that there is a distinction between responding to a user questioning my intelligence and responding to a flame bait comment about a candidate that is insulting, adds nothing to the conversation, and is not based in fact.

I seriously don’t understand what you’re trying to do here other than attack me. But the problem with these attacks, other than the fact that you have even admitted that they have nothing to do with my conduct in this thread, is that you clearly do not know me and are confusing my actions with someone else’s, someone who ruins these types of conversations by making them personal, perhaps someone like the person you’re being right now.

I’d appreciate an apology but I’m not holding my breath.

I think it’s funny how none of them separately  could put a moderate campaign together worth something. Instead they have to form around Biden like some firewall.

He got and would have gone even more votes from Bloomberg supporters.

While Bernie got only his own base? This drop between the 2 moderate contenders along with Warren and co. holding on was a blatantly calculated move from the DNC. Bloomberg was a lost cause from the beginning. They HAD to bank on Biden.

I dont get what your comment has to do with the previous one. You said something like " bernie lost because of Warren".

I just pointed out that If u think that Warren had a negative impact on Bernie, the numbers tell us that Bloomberg had at least a similar negative impact on Biden numbers.

I think both Bloomberg and Warren will drop out this week, so hopefully these theories will stop.

So if things stay this way we're sure that, at best, Trump will be defeated by  a candidate who will never do enough for the environment, LGBT rights or to fight poverty etc etc.

:wtfga:

I doubt that Trump can be defeated by the man who can't tell the difference between his wife and his sister. Imagine the debates, lol.

How are you not getting it? The progressive campaigns were literally just Bernie and Warren. He needs the votes, because there's no way he's getting them from the moderate camps. Bloomberg is leeching off votes from Biden, but unlike Bernie, he is gaining from most of Butti and Kombuchar bases.

REALITY

I just woke up. I’m incredibly disappointed to see that Bernie didn’t get as big of a boost as I imagined.

Before going to bed last night I thought he would’ve won Texas, but Biden ended up winning it.

Look, after this, I’m expecting Joe to get the nomination. The momentum for him will just be so big from South Carolina and this that I think that Bernie will have a very, very difficult time trying to catch up.

That said, I’m still very much in this for Bernie. There are still many states to go, so let’s just hope the people there do their jobs and vote.

I personally think that the entire “well if Warren wasn’t so selfish and dropped out Bernie would be winning” argument is way too hypothetical. Just based on the fact that there’s a fourth candidate who is beating Warren in some states who could also drop out. As of right now, Warren has 12.9% of the popular vote and Bloomberg has 12.8%. However, the key distinction here is that  Elizabeth competed in the first four states and Bloomberg did not. So, according to our current numbers, more people voted for Bloomberg than Warren.

I could perhaps understand this entire “let’s look at this theoretical scenario” if it were the most likely outcome, but what we’ve actually heard are rumors from the Bloomberg staff about his campaign being suspended and what we’ve heard from Warren is that she plans to see this race through to the end. It’s like, sure, maybe Bernie would have a lead over Biden if Warren dropped out and Bloomberg stayed in. But that’s so specific and arbitrary. Especially when Warren was predicted to at least perform well in a few states going into last night.

When will Warren and Bloomberg be forced to drop out? if its only Biden and Bernie, I think Bernie will win.

Bernie’s loss is on Warren. That embittered loser dog in the manger can choke.

Bernie's loss is on low turnout, stop trying to find others to blame, he even did worse than 2016 in some places.

It only makes sense that the last state to be called would be on the east coast. Literally our eastern most state. :smh:

And? U are acting like every single person attracted the same number of votes. No. They didnt.

Bloomberg attracted more votes than Warren last night. Biden also needs his votes to win as many delegates as possible.

Why is Tulsi staying in the race? I dont get it.

Fun?

I will say that she’s creating a reputation for herself. My family isn’t extremely politically aware but they know of Tulsi as the Democratic presidential candidate who voted present. Maybe she’s trying to get some name recognition for the next go around.
