REALITY 77,307 Posted March 1, 2020 Share Posted March 1, 2020 I'm taking my superhero/green lantern concept from the Silver Tribe thread and applying that here: So the game is about the world of Chromatica and how its inhabitants are in a world war: red vs green vs blue vs yellow vs black. The only tribe that isn't at war is the Kindness Punks, the pink tribe. In the beginning of the game though, you don't start out playing as the pink tribe. Actually, you go do missions and quests playing as all of the other tribes first. You get to experience what each tribe is like and what their motivations are for waging war on the others. Also, imagine home bases and hubs of each of the tribes. It could sort of be like an open world game where whenever you're playing as a certain tribe, you can visit what their land, view what their society is like, maybe do some side missions focused on that tribe, etc. Near the end of the game, that's when you get to play as the Kindness Punks. They're mostly neutral and just want the fighting to stop. As the pink tribe—after fighting for and against the various other tribes in the game—that's when it's your job to try and bring people together to stop the fighting. Finally, the Spiritual Ones come in and congratulate you and bless you or whatever it is they do Oh, of course, each tribe has their own abilities: Pink - Kindness Punks - telekinesis Yellow - The Techies - technopathy (ability to control and manipulate technology) Green - The Hippies - chlorokinesis (ability to control plant life) Blue - Freedom Fighters - sonic scream Red - Ministers of Order - energy manipulation Black - Gothic Champions - life-force absorption/energy draining These are inspired by what the tribes represent in the video by the way! So if some of them seem kinda random, that's why. For example, the blue tribe in the MV represents protestors, so I thought giving them a sonic scream would be cool! darkchylde 14,857 Posted March 1, 2020 Share Posted March 1, 2020 game is set on year 5000 long after most things on earth has died. a few small tribes of aliens have repopulated it, each brand a different color as their symbol. you choose a tribe, which is basically a class/race combo. you, an exiled hero from your tribe, are forced to pursue the profecy of a chosen saviour from another planet that will unite all tribes in peace and fight the corruption of your leathers. Where you kind of start off with a prologue where you get to know everyone, then sh!t blows up and a time skip happens where you are the tactician of your tribe with the few outsiders you have managed to recruit. We could also have a Drakengard 3 thing going on where you don't know the story at first but it unfolds as you play. And it's action rpg. And you collect mounds of lore.
